Really nice stone work with historically correct materials! However, the new window should've been aligned with the ground floor window to ease the weight on top of it as well as for aesthetic reasons! Also because in this case, the lack of symmetry creates tension to the human eye!

Use a laser level, my friend. It will help make your starting point easy. You will see where it strikes the square.

Nothing wrong in my eyes and I’ve been in the trade for 35 years, apart from the idiots who now say a bearing has to be a full 440mm block .. yet on the outside it can be a 10m batt or a lintel bearing 150mm on a 155mm 3/4 Madness

Thank you, really appreciate that 🙂 I’m not sure if you can get 350 trench, we just built two skins of 100mm on our recent 150 cavity’s. Interesting to know if you can get the 350’s though if anyone knows

Hi mate, yeah I’am just short form at the minute. Got plenty long videos recorded, I just dont have the time to edit them 😬 I think the last long video was half way through ‘the extension thats like half a house’ and i’ve never finished it yet 🤦♂️
