Bricklink Haul! (April 17, 2016)

The silver mask's name is the "Kanohi Crast" The character who wore it (albeit in a different color) was Krika That marbled Glatorian helmet was Ackars, although the original version of that mold was from Barax, I believe. Also, that specific Gresh mask was from Bionicle's "Stars" line. The original Gresh mask/helmet was marbled with dark green and lime green.

I made a bohrok-like moc one time using those wheels. It had one on each arm and they spun like drills (like a juiced up nuhvok), then when you folded it up into a ball, you could roll it around on them.

3:50 the mask's name is crast, the character it came from was the makuta mistika krika (i remember because i had him and really liked him). the silver version came from the same vehicle set as that one helmet (i was really confused for a second, i couldn't find the silver one at first so i was wondering how it existed, but then i remembered bricklink lists the dual injected and solid items desperately so then i found it)

Krika is also the only non-inherently evil or "mean" Makuta. He just went along with Teridax's plans because he didn't wanna die that much. Dying was a bad thing to him.

Those masks aren't masks they are glatorian helmets apart from krikas mask. The original masks from 2001-2006 were a much more durable plastic then the G2 masks. Ironically there were bionicle McDonald's toys in the form of the tohunga, which had the more durable masks.

+xXHDGamer353Xx Haha yeah I find quite a number of people don't anticipate responses from content creators. Part of that is fun to be unexpected, though it's kind of sad that the state of KZbin communities is that bad that viewers don't expect creators to have a dialogue with them. Anyways that's a really interesting use of the head, I wouldn't have though to flip it around. The piece count on that set is definitely crazy. I don't think I would have the mental strength to tear apart that beauty though. I'd probably have to buy two if I wanted parts for MOC fodder! ;)

I don't like using the HF1.0 feet for female characters because high Heels are quite impractical for a character whose supposed to fight. It's just a personal preference.

+BoisegangGaming They're definitely non-optimal for combat, I agree with you there. But the flatfooted shoes the Toa have now might be almost as bad. Hard to be mobile with no arch in your foot, would tire extremely easy and have lots of foot pain.

+SyntheticPacifist ThePleb The one time I did this with a breastplate with the Lord of the Skull Spiders face on it, it worked but it removed all the glossy-ness from the piece. It became textured and faded and my OCD kicked in and I couldn't use it.

How do i use Bricklink

+Pohatu2003 2003 (I took this response from an older comment I made and pasted it here since it was pretty thorough.) You search Bricklink for a part you're looking to purchase, and it will give you a list of every store that sells that part and how many they have of it. Once you click on a store you're interested in you can then browse that store for additional parts. Once you're satisfied with your cart at that store, you can submit it for invoicing. It typically takes a day or so for them to invoice you, but once they do, you simply pay it and wait for your parts to arrive. The important thing to distinguish is that you shop BY STORE, not through all of Bricklink (like an Amazon). Your cart at one store does not carry over to another store, so each store transaction occurs in a vacuum from one-another. It's pretty overwhelming at first, but the key is to decide what you NEED, and then find a store with that and as many things extra that you might WANT. The more you need, the fewer options of stores you'll have. If you're seeking multiple unique parts, chances are you'll have to place multiple orders from each. Hope that helps!
