“The hawks *were* beating the Celtics tonight” ;) “But I still like em, they’re my favorite team” real throwback to the 2013 & 2014 Celtics who were terrible but I still watched almost every game.

That’s a proper fan. Gotta love your team in good times and bad. I remember the time my bad Hawks took the Celtics to game 7 - which they proceeded to lose by about 50. Lol

Hey I use the same Creationary insert to divide pieces as I'm building. Very helpful and I agree, the bottoms are curved and it helps get pieces out. Great recommendation and I agree, it's a bit flimsy. Maybe I should look into getting one of the sturdier ones from the Education sets. Hmmm...

Great to see another way of putting parts to a store! Did you upload them all in stockroom? How do you determine which are added to the online store, and which ones are in the stockroom? Or does Bricklink adds them automatically to the store if they can be consolidated, and leave the other ones in stock room?
@rmfloris4 жыл бұрын
So how do you find an empty drawer for the parts? You look in your store or have a more automated solution for it? You also mentioned the part out value. How do you calculate that while buying sets? Or do you wait until you get home?

Thanks for your video. It is really much to do. But it seems that it is a kind of fun for you. It is meditation, not really. But, every one who is ordering parts from bricklink, can assume that it is work. Keep up the good work. I try to organise my movie collection on dvd which is about 3500 dvds.... better watching movies then sorting dvds and adding them to the database.

One thing I do struggle with using Brickstock is knowing if I already have a part when allocating a drawer number to a lot. I have a workaround but it's a bit messy, so I only use it for larger uploads. Basically, download store inventory to Brickstock, then set all quantities to zero. Then copy and paste the file for your new upload on top of this, using 'keep original attributes'. Then sort by quantity and delete all lots with zero quantity. What you are left with is your new upload, but with the remarks already labelled with the correct locations.
@BrickTsar5 жыл бұрын
What you can do is begin the upload and when you are verifying you can see which lots you don’t already have. Make those changes in brick stock - then upload and verify again before submitting. I usually do what I showed here - check stock room so any that don’t have a remark automatically go to stock room. Then I add the others. My drawers are always full for now so that’s what works best for me

Thanks for sharing Jabbo! Why not just use Bricklink directly? Isn’t it double work? Is there an advantage to Brickstock?
@BrickTsar5 жыл бұрын
BrickLink times out. Might work for a smaller set. After a couple of times of that I stopped using BrickLink directly. It’s sucks to enter in all the prices and stuff them it times out and you have to do it over. Plus with brick stock you can save the file and use it later for the same set. Brick stock actually saves work.
@jamesrolfe16515 жыл бұрын
@@BrickTsar Great! Thank you so much for the information. I guess I have had luck with the smaller sets as you said. I will have to look into Brick Stock.

#bat I’m just getting started on bricklink and I am trying to sell a lot of my used surplus, mostly second hand finds. Is it worth the time and effort to sort out and sell?
@whitehorsebricks26705 жыл бұрын
I find it quite rewarding, its 'nicer' than dumping bulk on eBay, but sorting used used parts needs to be your hobby as it is very time consuming to sort, price, put away and list.

I am new to bricklink. Do you have to get an account, like ebay to have a store? I did not see shipping cost on the items. Does that automatically set price or do you have to?
@BrickTsar5 жыл бұрын
Yes - you have to have an account. Each store has their own terms and ways to calculate shipping. Some offer a flat fee. Most calculate it based on the weight of the order. Many sellers you have the option to see the shipping costs before placing the order. Others you might have to look at their terms are ask them. With thousands of sellers, you can't have one flat rule for everybody. Bricklink is really for your more experienced fans of LEGO. It has a learning curve that helps keep scammers and kids off the site. They still try but they are easy to spot
