1. You can analyze some of the techniques and try to build it yourself 2. The reason they are so expensive is because they are such a small company, but produce very quality products. Lego is a very expensive hobby - I heard Brickmania employees don't even make that large profit margins, even with their prices.

Very cool aircraft, really a good job. One small detail, the tail code CO is an F-16 unit in real life. It is the mile high militia from the Colorado ANG. Saw these guys at Belli's a few years ago at red flag.

Cool piece, but the tail flash and the decals are incorrect. You have a 335th FS squadron emblem on the intake, but a CO tail flash (Colorado Air National Guard). I am unaware of what the tail stripe is from and also that emblem. A quick google image search could find a more accurate livery.

To make a more convincing G suit on the pilots, you can model a vest that goes down through the neck and over the torso, kind of a reverse Lego quiver/cape. If you've never seen lego quivers they're kind of ingenious and you can use the design to add more dimensionality to the chest area

Well the F-15J is basically a F-15C with some different systems installed. The Japanese version is not a different aircraft, just another variant. It is also not used by the Japanese Navy, because the F-15 is a land based fighter.
