I think 2014 was also probably one of the best years in my opinion and it was one of the last years to really have a lot of ROTS sets. Also I love your videos, keep up the great content.

I got this for Christmas as a kid it was so cool. Also got the little green Jedi star fighter you mentioned too. So much more bang for the buck back then, in both ways. Brings back great memories!

I still remember 2012, I was starting first grade in the fall (😭), and I saw the commercial for this set on the TV at a friend’s house. I really wanted it so badly but unfortunately although my parents knew I loved Lego sets, I don’t think they believed in spending $120 for a set. Nowadays it’s too expensive for me still so although I’ll never own the set, at least videos like this exist

Technically, the Malevolence is 4 times as long as the Invisible Hand. Still both look great on display together!

IMO the flick fire missiles of the republic attack shuttle were the best implementation. They were actually fully automatic and you could easily remove them from the build, if you only wanted to display it.

I personally never forgot about The Malevolence, it's sort of my white whale set. I've always loved the Separatist ships like The Invisible Hand so so so much, so the idea of having The Malevolence basically offered me that piece of the Separatist navy that desperately wanted.

That is a pretty good looking ship. They made some smart choices with adding the detailing. It is ofcourse completely out of scale with the Figs, but that is simply not possible with larger ships. Thanks for showing the thing off.

​@brickmasterharri The scales are so far off it isn't even funny. The Invisible Hand is 1,088 meters long, while the Malevolence is 4,845 meters long. If you wanted to use the Invisible Hand (Providence Cruiser) as the larger Providence Dreadnought, then the scales would work pretty good, but they don't work if you're using it as the Invisible Hand.

Man, I’ve wanted this set for a while. The dark blue and gray on these separatist sets makes me love the seperatists. Unfortunately I’m relatively young for a Lego collector, so I missed out on some golden sets, and now they’re worth a fortune. I also wanted to say I love your channel, and the vibes with it. Although you’re not as big as some other great Lego channels, I’d say you’re better than them, thanks for the awesome video😊

clone wars anakin was my first ever minifig, for my 8th birthday my parents spent about £11 on lego star wars for me, im so grateful, especially considering the sets i got, anakins jedi fighter, the legendary clone walker battle pack, assasain droids battle pack, republic attack shuttle and tyhe AAT (big seppy one)

We need more CIS ships. A munificent, recusant, lucrehulk, C-9979, hardcell rocketship, a playscale providence(along with a playscale venator reboot would make an amazing pairing, maybe having the two of them compliment each other somehow?), and finally something like a droid fighter 2-pack with a tri-fighter and vulture droid. So much potential, but Lego is like "nah, let's make more clone and empire stuff - gotta fill out our customers' gray baseplates." Would love a battledroid redesign somewhere down the line that gives them a little more articulation; I have a soft spot for the lego B1's.

The sizes you say at 7:35 being "surprisingly pretty close to in universe" is completely wrong. The Malevolence is 4,845 meters long while the providence destroyer is only 1,088 meters long! Also a Venator Star Destroyer is about 1,137 meters long, JFYI.

I have this set. My brother snuck into my room and took it outside to play with shortly after I had built it and he cracked the whole thing in half like the titanic. Lost some pieces and only recently rebuild it. Some of those republic red pieces have cracks and I can't find Grievous but otherwise she's sitting pretty on my shelf

Last star wars set i got was in the yoda wave because that's when star wars felt good to me and now it's to over done everything has to be 1-1 perfection. Infact the only star wars set I'd consider getting these days would be the Republic fighter tank other than that it's not for me. I however do have the clone wars dooku and the movie trilogy one as well with i believe the last clone wars yoda Minifigure if that counts for anything.

2012 was a great year suprisingly the only 2012 set I have in the jabbas palace I remember seeing the gungan sub and melevolence in toys R us wish I got them but I got a lot of sets at the time and I’m happy with what I got like the 2013 gunship and the 2009 arc 170
