11:07 That is one of two times I have seen that happen. The only other instance of that is when a Ganondorf footstooled into immediate side B (similar to that Falcon) and fell through Town and City. I think it is the result of the footstool into side B not being able to grab the ledge correctly, and the foot of the characters clipped in the stage. Again, this only happened twice, and it was a while ago since it happened. 17:51 That one is a straight up "to be continued" meme.

Regardless, I’ve seen way too many sets end with one player getting star KO’d and the other player just runs off the side and dies before the star KO animation ends. Like just hold on to your controller for 2 more seconds THEN pop off lol

The_ Bookworm As briefly shown in the Smash Direct we got back during August, the game defines stage hazards as "environmental changes or enemies," so we can safely assume all transforming/transitioning stages will stay in their initial form (unless there are some exceptions like Halberd and Skyloft always staying in the air).

Bro, Melee is so broken. It could really use a remake that basically just removes phantom hits and stuff like that. I’d also like it to feel less... idk... stiff I guess. Like rolling and grabs just feel bad to me in Melee. I try to grab and my character shields, and the same thing happens when I roll sometimes. Say I try to grab right after a roll, the grab button just shields instead and I don’t understand why. It happens less in PM and Legacy XP, but it’s still a problem in those games too. There’s also some times when my character just doesn’t jump and I’m so confused as to why. I guess everything just has more lag on it than in later games and I’m just pressing the button too early...? Idk it just feels bad to me. I really hope Melee HD with fixes to all those problems, character balance, and online is a thing in the future. Legacy XP will do for now lol. Also Ultimate looks amazing in a different way than a Melee HD would be, so I would still play both. I’m just rambling at this point, but I’m honestly just trying to pass time before the Smash Direct tomorrow... the wait is killing me.

You accidentally light shield when you press Z. This can be avoided by jump cancel grab. Rolling is not really a good option in Melee, which is considered a good thing by many people, since punishing roll spam in Smash 4 especially is pretty damn annoying (luckily fixed in Ultimate). Also very little reason to roll when theres wave dashing and other movement options.

Phantom hits are in every smash game. It's when a move is 1 pixel off from hitting, except in melee it does half damage with the sound/effects still playing. In brawl and onward it simply makes a little spark with no damage.

The first hitbox has a set knockback and Factoring the rage peach had due to high percentage, it sends the opponent at crazy hight. Thats also how mario gets some of his up-B gimps (and even Roy in melee)

Stadium is only barely broken. We have the technology to make it always stay in neutral form but it hasn't been implemented yet because these glitches are so rare. As for Lylat, I don't play sm4sh for ultimate so I couldn't tell you why one of their legal stages is constantly moving.
