BRICKOWL COMING BACK!?!!?! | Picking An Order on BrickLink #12
In this video, Evan picks five orders for four different buyers, one of them being Rain Gonen, one of the winners of the BrickLink store credit giveaway during our 1000 Subscriber Special Stream! He talks a little bit about BrickOwl coming back, as well as selling used parts, and what might be redone if we were to restart the store now, with all the knowledge of the growth over the past 7 months. If you would like your order packed on camera, please be sure to write in the message section while checking out.

My used and new are split. The first row of the store is new and the next 2+ rows are used. We pick all new first and then pack them noting that they are new for the customer. Then continue on picking used. This is demonstrated well in my PABLO videos.

Hello, I am in the middle of getting things together to open a store just not quite there yet. I have both used and new parts. I separate the used from the new because some people might want to buy the used piece if the price is a little lower, so I wouldn't put together. I would put the used on the other wall and keep separate from new. You don't want to get them mixed up. The lighting on the video was fine, didn't bother me.

I started a bricklink store beginning of July and sell new and used parts. I store them the same way you store all your new parts on the wall. Drawer 122 could be new parts and drawer 123 could be used. It doesn't matter because on bricklink it tells you if it's used or new. All my used parts are washed. The only difference is in packing , all used together and all new together. I just made 30k in parts my goal is 250k. Hope this helps.

I'm in the queue for Brick Freedom too, I like the idea of orders in one place. I'm only a small store selling both new and used and have used in a small bank of draws at the beginning of the wall so are a seperate section. Then when I'm picking I write on a bag/label they are used so I always pack those altogether away from the new. I also mix lots in the draws in used as I'm not guaranteed to get that part again. Only 2-3 very obviously different in a section instead of 1.

16:20 Aside from the part out value, how else do you figure out which sets are good for part out?

Hey Evan! Question - What is the process for combining two orders in BrickLink? I had a buyer ask to add on to an order that was already paid for. He was a new buyer and I was (still am really) a new seller. We were unable to figure that process out so he paid for shipping twice but I gave him a coupon to compensate for the extra shipping. Thanks in advance for any advice! Have a great day & Keep 'em Coming!

Hi Chris! I sort of answered that question here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3KzgmWbd9GXhJI Essentially, they are only able to add to an order before it has been paid for. Once it's been paid for, they need to place another order in your store. Hopefully that helps!
