The figures definitely stand out in the set. As for the Ice Emperor, I think wat they did was creative, because if they gave him the Samurai face mask then it'd be easy to figure out the Ice Emperor's true identity.

I really wish Lego brings back villain vehicles. The car of the red visor would be a good set. For season 13 based on the theme there couldn’t be any vehicles and the same thing is with season 11. Only the bad guys master like Aspheera, Unagami, Skull Sorcerer, etc. get a vehicle/animal so they don’t have to walk. Really wish they would bring them back.😢

Yeah, this set focuses too much on Boreal when it was mainly meant to be a playset. Fortunately, they fixed that confliction of having the bad guy dragon and castle in the same set by splitting the two builds up for MotM.

Tbh I'd get it for Akita, the dragon, and the Ice Emperor. The castle, to me, doesn't look bad. I just wish it had some more depth to it and actual play and posing area

Playing mechanism would be traded off for the aesthetic, especially in the case of this set. But overall not a bad set. It's the most expensive set I've spent on this year and I'm not regretting at all.

I do agree that the main draw was the minifigures. But there's one thing about the minifigs and I'm not happy about it, which is the printing quality on the minifigs is really bad, on LEGO's quality standing point. They're having printing issues on minifigs for a while now and it needs to be reviewed carefully. I used to think it's only the problem of white paint on Akita minifig but now I noticed some of my minifigs in the set also have problems as well.

Boreal is a dragon. Jay said that it was a dragon. Plus wyverns don't exist in Ninjago. There's dragons and regardless of the number of legs it's still a dragon.

I think dragon and castle should've been 2 different sets rather than 1 set because dragon has more details than the castle which makes the castle look really empty.

I have this set and I think it's great! 3 really good exclusive minifigures, a great dragon with lots of poseablility, and fantastic value for the price. The build for the castle itself could be better, especially the interior underneath the towers that is pretty much useless. But it still looks good from the outside and it's by far the best value of the S11 sets

Hey mind its me swole akita from instagram i’m super glad you reviewed this set, this was an amazing set i thought i was the only one who just got this set just for akita, 13:34 . when i got this set i loved it (regarding akita’s inclusion), the figs are great but i wish we got more for what we are paying, the castle build is great too but with your complain/feedback about how thin the “Rooms” are, i hate how small they are but its still a good build by using some unique and different pieces, the crossbow tower is also a good build i like it and im glad i got that mountain ice piece in the front or back idk which. and boreal i didnt like the head, so after a few months i decided to change it finally by making it bigger and better nothing else for the body (yet), and overall i love this set but shouldn’t be worth 100$ it would be best if its 75/80 $ and i would be excited to buy it but with all that said thats all i gotta say for this long paragraph (Please notice me ._. )

I have this set and I think this is actually pretty cool looking set. Maybe it's just because I am not a super rich guy, 1 Dollar is 8 Turkish Liras here and I don't have a looot of sets. This is my 2nd biggest set and I really enjoying playing it. Yeah the inside of the set is really a bit small but, the outside looks very cool ! And that Cole figure, it's one of my favorite Cole figures and I'm happy to get him. Other figures too, the emperor, the ice samurais, the Lloyd and AKITA 😍😍😍 I love Akita so dang much 😍

Bro they keep bringing back the the lightning and ice elemental blade but not the fire and earth which is weird the blade that looks earth is the one that came with the legacy lloyd spinner but fire is not being used and I don’t know why because that’s the coolest blade I have both of them from the temple of light and the kais fire mech I didn’t buy skybound sets but they need to remake the fire elemental blade

The Ice Emperor isn't exclusive to the set I watched one of Generic Stud's video and he revealed that the ice Emperor also came in a book for season 11
