This year has been very good for ninjago dragons. First we finally got the overlord dragon, then the jungle dragon and this summer we got not only the remake of Kai's fire dragon, but now we finally got the water dragon! I will always be thankful for this year of ninjago.

I feel like with the fire and water dragons, LEGO has perfected their design, and I especially like the articulations in this one, with how the tail wagging. Amazing review btw, thanks for the video

For the minifigures with the flippers put them on like the stamp pieces and then put them on the minifigure stand

this weekend i went a little crazy, i bought this set, the fire dragon legacy set and the destiny's bounty legacy set. all of them are fantastic, but this water dragon set is my favourite. the dragon looks so good and it's colours are just phenomenal, the nya minifig is absolutely amazing and the other little builds are fun too. i absolutely adore this set and seeing it contrast against the fire dragon set just really shows how good it really is.

Just like with Wohira/Wojira I do wish The Water Dragon and her got specially molded heads that were show accurate. Other than that, it's an amazing set, all aspects of it are just so beautiful! The dragon's design and Nya's design are definitely the selling point for me! I cannot wait to get this myself!

Finally nya has a dragon of her own just like she said in season 1 episode 1 of ninjago for over 9 years! No counting the fusion dragon set because that is not a dragon of her own

She technically does get her own Dragon in Season 6, where she makes her own Water Dragon, even though it only appears in one episode. And the Hydroelectric Dragon she made with Jay in the same season as well.

You can actually put minifigures with flippers on display stands by putting the "stamp" (bar to antistud connection) piece underneath the flippers!

I'm probably gonna get this set or the temple of the endless sea. I wish instead of Nya's head being white it was transparent blue but it doesn't look bad.

One complaint I have with the NRG Nya figure is the half-mask piece. I don’t think that that blue colour matches the rest of the minifigure. I’ll probably switch it for the navy-blue

I see this set as deceitful It looks excellent from a distance but when you get close and realise the dragon's legs look so unfinished, the wing function is poorly done (it was a good concept though) and Nya's head colour totally ruins her aesthetic of her figure it looses plenty of the charm and let's be honest the dragon looks very good but it's pretty unoriginal build wise an excellent looking set with plenty of questionable compromises in terms of the build
