The haunted manor wall would look even better with some dots graffiti on it. I've never seen an alley without graffiti.

I think if you need room in the future maybe remove the arcade completely, shorten or reduce the width of the beach and then build an arcade pier over the beach into the ocean. The arcade pier can be open with maybe just a cover and use the games in the arcade for the pier. If you build a pier you can add fisherman as well. Right now the arcade seems large for what it is and you already have an amusement park next to the down town core,

Question: I've been disassembling my older sets from the 2000s and 2010s and I've had about a dozen brown pieces break on me when taking them apart. Have you ever noticed if older brown legos in particular are weaker compared to others? I'm talking about all brown pieces including tiles, studs, studded plates, everything.

you could have a space open for your bricklink Bowling alley set and use the space for construction site until then!

That's what I was thinking. But we probably may as well use up our space and make another change when the time comes.

Jordan, I was just wondering if you’ve ever thought of using brown tiles to do your tracks. Ik it’s probably more pricey but I think it could possibly look better. Just my opinion.
@Bricksie3 жыл бұрын
Railroad ties can be made of wood, concrete, steel, and in more recent times plastics made from recycled products such as rubber etc. Brown, light gray, or black can be used to represent the ties. A long time ago I decided to go with black. I think it looks clean , and at this point, yes it would be expensive to change.

That back alley is the sort of place I've always wanted to detail in a Lego city, unfortunately my city has never been big enough to have one like that. I'm stuck with setting up scenes along the backs of the three modulars I have. But I have so many ideas for an area like that. I see that you've kinda made it so everything is built on the half baseplates running down the middle, but I think it would look better to have the vendors and stands (Like the art display) back against the walls of the modulars, so there's not just this big, blank wall, then a space, then a tall thing. The thing is, it doesn't have to even be all fancy and nice. Like, arts and crafts and foods and other vendors in a back alley could lead to all sorts of things going on in a large Lego city. Shady deals, secret meetings, 'hidden' areas where the inevitable dozens of crooks and bad guys one gets from all the Police sets are getting up to no good. Obviously it's your city and you can focus on what you want to with it, but I think it'd be really cool to put some focus into that sort of detail. Like, story-telling elements that go beyond moving a building from one spot to another. Integrating the pop culture stuff into the stories can be fun too. Not to mention the trains... There's a lot of potential for story-telling in a city this size.

Where are you placing the school when you build it? Also would you consider building a bridge for cars in the city?

The school will likely go near the residential area. We used to have the two sections connected but due to the table layout it was just awkward and a waste of space.
