The “unrelated Palmer” was a real life pulp magazine editor. A lot of things in this book were either historical events, or actual claimed occurrences, like the claim by Jackie Gleason’s wife that Nixon showed him alien bodies.

I bought it at the 1 dollar store. Is it truly worth the read? It’s a GORGEOUS book.
