I’m the displayer for the display at 11:30. It’s Star Wars the Old Republic (based off the games). On another note thanks for the video! It’s hard to be able to describe these displays to others who aren’t able to come to the convention! This is awesome!

Thank you for telling us that. I was a bit disappointed in Joshua because he didn't really give a definitive description of whom some of the builders/designers were and how we could possibly follow them outside of this video. Isn't this supposed to be about showcasing the Lego Community and sharing/promoting designers/builders work?

Thanks for the feedback. We do our best to keep the camera stable. It's impossible to give the viewer a long look at every display in a tour video like this featuring hundreds of creations.

I know this video was probably edited(since no one usually gets it right on a first take), but Joshua and whomever his camera man was, need to get in sync! The camera man was too much unsteady zooming in/out and panning a cross the display tables. Quite frankly, I thought each display was too much rushed for viewing. Joshua also needs to have more clarity/detail on the designers/builders. I think a good deal of us viewers can't make it to these big shows, so what you show us on video is important, as we might want to know a lot more about a certain designer/builder or we want to follow their work outside of this video.
@BeyondtheBrick5 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for the feedback. The video is not edited. These tour videos are difficult to record because we can't spend hours and hours showing each creation exhaustively. We also don't have time to interview every builder to ensure every detail is covered. For more information on some of the displays, please see our Brickworld Indy playlists. ( 2019: bit.ly/2U0ubqN and 2018: bit.ly/2U4mcZJ)
@teresacoffman55295 жыл бұрын
Beyond the Brick, you are correct. There isn’t time to go over each display with a lot of detail. This video is almost an hour long already. However, if you do some of your background work first by talking to the creators of the displays before you film you will gain valuable knowledge. Then you can share that knowledge with your viewers as you film. I think your viewers would appreciate it. You needn’t spend a lot of time with the creators. 10-15 minutes during the day should be enough to glean the information on who built it, what is special about the display or what inspired it, etc.

Hi, I enjoy watching your vids, and am looking for a bit of help and advice, I work as a behavioural teaching assistant in a primary setting school and was yesterday studying a course on lego therapy, which would benefit a lot of younger children especially with the fundamentals of autistic spectrum. And basically looking for any types of lego sets that could be donated for our cause, if you, or know anyone who can donate small lego sets please message me for a bit more info and if you want any type of identification then that's not a problem, thanks

51:55 minuts of awesome builds, but Josh! Dude! You need to open your eyes and see what your looking at. Either that or go back to Lego School and learn what is what. And would only be to start with. ‘Superman shooting web’ is just one small thing. Wash your mouth and respect the builds. ‘Not gonna look at that’ ‘it’s boring when not running’ Someone spent a lot of time building and you put there build down like that. Shame on you Josh. Say your sorry.
