You made a few mistakes here The infrastructure is great and will help, but here is the truth Bric is there to make China rich. China's wealth comes from manufacturing, do not think for a moment they will give their only source of income to you. Plus China is running out of rare earth, all modern tech needs rare earth, China is only here for resources do not be fooled. BTW Africa is poor because they do not trade with each other, have constant wars, limited freedoms, corrupt governments, and have children at a faster rate than the economy grows. China had the same problems they had children faster than the economy grew so they made a law that you may only have 1 child a very evil disgusting law where they would kill your unborn child, but it brought them wealth The fact that the African population is growing so fast is not to you benefit, but the opposite. You must have children at the rate your economy grows, to become rich.

ALL THIS RUBBISH YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, ARE YOU NOT EVEN ASHAMED THAT FOREIGN GOVT WILL HAVE TO ASSIST YOU,(AFRICAN) FOR AFRICA TO PROGRESS, HAS CHINA EVER TALK ABOUT THE SECURITY PROBLEMS IN AFRICA, ASK YOURSELF AMONG THE DECISIONS MAKERS IN BRICS HOW MANY AFRICA ARE AMONG, YOU JUST TALK RWANDA IS NOT AMONG ASK YOURSELF WHY? AFRICA AS A CONTINENT FORGOT THAT THE DEVIL YOU KNOW US FAR BETTER THAN THE NEW ANGEL, THERE ARE SO MANY HIDDEN THINGS THAT YOU PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW AT ALL. You made great points in your video. There are however two things of major note to take into consideration. Firstly, the full or even critical-mass expansion of AfCFTA is proceeding too slowly. Unless there is more buy-in by other African countries there will not be the major growth in Africa's manufacturing, as you and I would both like to see. Secondly, where are the sovereign African funds that people like me can buy into? A few might be out there, but how do you access them?

Africans must be self sufficient in food production. The foundation of a nation’s economy is the agricultural sector that is the backbone of domestic economy while securing increased in GDP per capita. Africans have to feed themselves to shed all colonial policies. In addition, Africans must take charge of their healthcare system, rejecting foreign medical policies that disrupt the organic plant base remedies that can create and develop millions of small entrepreneurs while simultaneously protect the health of Africans.

I agree with you completely on both your points. It has amazed me when going to Zambia that there is little interest in growing their own food. I've recently learned, however of Foundation For Farming - training in growing by composting not pesticides etc. They are in Zimbabwe and also in Zambia... Also, what hurt me was that they go first to the supermarkets for food instead of making it a priority to buy from the street sellers. So they all remain poor, instead of supporting each other!! Big Pharma in both India and Africa has ruined the people's understanding of natural plant-based medicines. But, I got them using bicarbonate of soda for stomach problems with great success!!

BRICS wants to build a new currency. It is also worth noting that gold has historically been used as a store of value and a means of exchange, and some countries still hold significant amounts of gold in their reserves. However, it is unclear how a new currency backed by gold would function in the current global financial system and whether it would gain widespread acceptance. Ultimately, any decision to create a new currency would be subiect to numerous economic, political, and logistical considerations.
@Peterl4290
@Peterl4290 27 күн бұрын
It's interesting to learn more about the discussions and proposals around BRICS nations and their potential use of gold. There are several reasons why people may choose to buy gold, including its historical use as a store of value and means of exchange, its potential as a hedge against inflation or currency devaluation, and its relative scarcity compared to other commodities. Additionally, gold can offer diversification benefits to investment portfolios, as it tends to have a low correlation with other asset classes like stocks and bonds. However, it's important to note that investing in gold carries risks and may not be suitable for evervone. and investors should carefully consider their investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial situation before making any decisions.

Investing in gold is a reliable choice, and I plan to keep buying more to make up for my losses. While silver is also a good investment, my collectibles are not as similar. I am all for leveraging world economies in favour of Africa, but the biggest problem that all the investment in the world will not overcome is African social, economic and political leadership corruption, African political instability and low worker productivity levels. Africa has and will continue to squander opportunity and prosperity through these shortcomings.
@yqz251

You are right. African politicians are corrupt which hinders the progress of their own countries. But don't forget that these corrupt leaders were placed there by western countries so they can manipulate and indirectly run the countries. If an African leader won't cooperate with the west, there will be trouble in his country. There will be rebellion and that non cooperative leader will be thrown out and replaced with somebody who is more inclined to the west.....or....or, leave the country without leader so then it is much more easier for the western countries to come in and dictate whatever they want.

I've only just hit go on the video and heard the intro. I'm going to hit resume as soon as I've banged this comment out. There are a number of characteristics that define a so-called neocon, but in my opinion, the principle one is either total ignorance of the fact, or a total refusal to recognise, that before the Second World War, global hegemony was spread out all over the world, and the United States only became the world's ruling hegemon due to the degree to which the European and Asian infrastructures had been decimated by that awful war. I'm South African, and BRICS excites me. It represents a hope I didn't think I'd live to see gain anywhere near the sort of traction it has. The thought that wakes me up in the night and leaves me there staring at the ceiling is the one that leads to the fear of on of several, propagandist efforts to unravel deservedly-positive public opinion when it comes to BRICS taking root and spreading through the tree, killing it bough by all-too-often exploited bough. Just got to the end. Wicked job, man. Thank you. Subscribed.

Thank you very much for this video. I’m so glad you mentioned what happened to Africa in the 1980s with the IMF because growing up, I would hear adults in Africa complain about the financial crisis of the late 1980s and early 90s but no one would properly explain to me what happened. I sometimes think the generation before us FAILED us by not sharing the truth. As a millennial, who immigrant to the US at a young age, I’m now left to do extensive research to understand why Africa is the way it is. Your channel is very enlightening and healing because in order to build a better future for Africans and the global community, we most know our own history.

Great Video! Speaking from a Kenyan perspective I think the most important or maybe profitable buisness is the manufacture of household appliances such as refrigerators, clothes washing machines, microwave ovens, etc. These things have high demand and are all imported from Asia. As a result, the price in Kenya is more than it is in Europe or the US for the same unit. Manufacturing our own refrigerators would also help with the agricultural export industries. I dont think BRICS is the way forward, I think we need a strong African Union, like the EU and a common currency, The Afro, like the Euro, only it will be more valuable. Each BRICS member has a different agenda and interests in different things and places. China and Russia are both in Crisis. Africa does not need to be tied to them to prosper.

All leaders are so corrupt ... they keep the wealth for their friends and families ...while the masses suffer in poverty ... they try to keep the masses uneducated and poor so they can control them ... remember these BRICS countries because Africans are not trained and do not possess the skills ... these countries will bring their skilled people who will dominate by corrupting governments officials with bribes and eventually start to take control as is currently evident and before you know it have removed the wealth out of Africa to enrich their own countries just saying BEWARE ! Nothing is for free there is always a price to pay ! Take care ... GOD bless ... South Africa 🇿🇦

Of course BRICS is interesting, but it has been around for a long time, and what is different now is that the US Dollar is having debt trouble. Other countries in BRICS alliance want to use their own currencies, which seems reasonable. However, they all seem to continue to use Africa's resources for themselves. The people are still being left as employees, at most. If the African countries could unify, they would be at least as big a power as the United States. Education is key, as is cooperation. Jumping on one of the other country's platforms is still giving control away. United Africa! That would be amazing. Good Luck!

Most African countries owe large sums to China. For example: Ghana: The West African country became famous a few years ago for the comments by its outgoing president, Nana Akufo-Addo, criticizing foreign aid. The country owes the IMF $2.25 billion, $6.7 billion to the World Bank, and $1.9 billion to China. With an estimated total of $15 billion, Ghana sits seventh on our list. Kenya: The East African nation has a debt obligation of about $6.7 billion to China, $12 billion to the World Bank and about $3 billion to the IMF. The estimated total of about $21.78 billion makes it the second most foreign-indebted African country. Nigeria: Africa’s most populous nation is hardly mentioned on the top five list of highest debtors, this is because its debt obligation to the IMF sits at $613 million. Also, its high population also gives it a good position on the debt ratio list. However, with a staggering $16.5 billion owed to the World Bank and $4.3 billion to China, the estimated total of $21.41 billion is impossible to ignore. Ethiopia: Despite being one of Africa’s most admired countries, Ethiopia has a total estimated debt obligation of $20.31 billion to the IMF, World Bank, and China alone. With its obligation to the World Bank sitting at $12.2 billion and $6.8 billion to China. Egypt: Egypt has a debt of $9.45 billion to the IMF and $7.9 billion to China. Its loans from the World Bank sit at about $7.9 million only, but the estimated total of approximately $15.5 billion brings it to fifth on our list.

Honestly, it would be best for the world for under economically developed countries to grow and flourish into booming markets. It will create more competition globally and finally create a more authentic capitalistic environment for the competition to decide the best market prices for the product and services rendered. The economies worldwide would literally skyrocket to insane degrees, and there will be EXTREME possibilities at making alot of money.

The answer is not BRICS or the west. The answer is uniting all the states of Africa. The Russians, Chinese, Indians and the Brazilian don’t give a damn about Africans, what they care about is the minerals in the grounds of Africa. Why are we so willing to repeat the mistakes of the past and do very little to control our destiny. African have to start looking inwards and develop the young people to build that great nation on the soils of Africa. Africa has no Allies outside the continent, the sooner we realize that the sooner that African will start building a United Africa for Africans. BRICS is not the Answer.

You do realize that you're willingly leaving a country that people knowingly risking death to try to enter, right? I mean, your husband himself traveled nearly all the way across the world for a reason. Moving from a place like the US where people make $225 a day on average, to Nigeria where they make $2, is so backwards.... Who leaves a place with more opportunity than the rest of the world combined, for...... Nigeria? No, no.... I'm sorry. No, you do you, nevermind me.... I'm sure you'll be much more successful going to a place with 97% less opportunity..... One thing I DO know from this..... I'm sure I know which way you vote.
