As somali i can say that and living Mogadishu, i see 👀 all good Turkey 🇹🇷 are doing in Mogadishu and somalia 🇸🇴, so if you're working with Turkey 🇹🇷 they will take your country forward and not backwards like you will with arab countries or Africans and European countries, so. Hi, greetings from Turkey. Ofcourse there is something in it for TR too.The difference is, TR is a partner which provides positive gains for the other partner(s). Colonialists have this understanding of somebody must lose in order the other part wins. But there is a concept of win - win which is possible, even solidified with a lot of examples. A good business and collaboration means everybody wins. I've been to Kenya and Ethiopia. Great countries, great people. Yet, their great potential is being wasted. Why these nations wouldnt enjoy the developement the rest of the world achieved with all their potential? We are in the era of technology and comunication. More people gain access to internet everyday and they see and understand the world. They see they have options, better options. As a Turk, I think it doesn't matter for me much if it is TR or another country do things told in this video. What I care more is to see more people get better conditions, better living. I hope one day I go back to Kenya and Ethiopa one day and enjoy more delicious goat meat and spectacular cofee 🙃

We don't even have the obligation to stand on the side of a NATO country committing genocide. NATO is a defensive pact, everyone who thinks otherwise has fallen for Russian Propaganda. It's actually the other NATO allies who didn't follow their obligations and armed and protected pkk terrorists at the borders of Türkiye. The weapons which went to pkk terrorists and Israel could have been used to strengthen the defense of Ukraine instead, preventing Russia from occupying Ukraine.

It appears Traore was the crack in the damn. Then the trickle started then the damn burst wide open. The fact that this is happening and Nigeria is joining BRICS shows that all the leaders needed was for someone to stand up and win against the mighty forces. This put the pressure on the other leaders to stand up and make a change. Also, it's common sense for other countries to help and cooperate with the world's richest continent. This way, they get a piece of the action.

Egypt initially supported the Ethopia dam project. The problems only started when the West got involved and showed support for Ethopia in altering the Nile water levels that Egypt has relied on for thousands of years. After Egpyt started moving for war, Turkey intervened to try and stop another war in Africa because it knows this would just help the European NeoColonialists who are Turkey's arch enemy.

Silt actually contains fertile Ethiopian soil which Egypt heavily relies upon for agriculture. Every political manoeuvring is akin to a game of chess but you can't miss some of the important pieces. Russia and China have immense strategic interest in Ethiopia and, more importantly for this topic, Israel, Iran and especially the UAE have become strong military allies to Ethiopia in recent years that has Egypt seething inside. But, more than anything else, Egypt has been trying to distablize Ethiopia for centuries to control the waters including waging wars and proxy wars where it suffered heavy defeats. For now Egypt is limited to only making superfluous threats and crying foul at every opportunity. Eventually, they will submit to sharing water on Ethiopian terms.

Sometimes leaders of countries make decisions that seem senseless however on closer observation you may understand why Ethiopia sells 4 countries. Its necessary for them to do that for monetary benefits to enrich the treasury of Ethiopia . All governments needs funds to run a country effectively. What better to earn such than to sell energy to your neighbours. Eventually all inhabitants of Ethiopia will have agood supply of energy.

You never mentioned that as soon as this deal was done, the USA indicated they would recognize Somaliland. Strangely enough, I haven't heard a peep from Somalia who was vehemently opposed to Ethiopia recognizing Somaliland's independence. Let me see if I've got this right. It's bad if Ethiopia recognizes Somaliland's independence, but not if the USA does the very same thing? Why is it I'm puzzled by this apparent contradiction?

The USA never did tho, it was just some lobbyist that were paid . Why would the u.s risk it ? This would literally push Muqdishu to China and Russia . Align themselves with Houthis and Iran. It would be nightmare move for the u.s. this would shut down the world trade . Risking all that for a regional state led by one clan? At least it was all northern people , it would have been something

I don’t understand why here in Africa they build big dams (almost all erected by an egyptian company). There is less and less water and more severe droughts. Photovoltaic is the way to go, can be much better decentralized and urbanized.

Why does Africa trust their enemies, instead of uniting with each other. The European knows the value of uniting, that's why Europeans are united under NATO.

Development in the continent is a must, and it is only fitting to do so , It is of much significance and a priority for all leaders of the continent to acknowledge and defend this very fabric of Development, a democratic process that should be of utmost priority as a state , as a nation, as a regional bloc, as a territory and as a people to defend this just cause.
