We must not forget that Kissinger said back in the 70s that Africans must never be allowed to control its mineral resources that we the west need for our defence. Most mines are owned by Canadian English and American interests. Africans still do not own its own resources sadly.
@blcheah2672
@blcheah2672 Жыл бұрын
Africans are not at the point where they can easily control their own resources. Did you see what happened to Libya, Syria and Iran? They nationalized their resources. And became enemies of the West for decades. You need to build up your economies and strengthen your societies first. It's a decades long process before you can start kicking out the Westerners. If you kick them out too early, you get 'democracy' coming to you from America.

That’s already changing in Burkina Faso, Mail and Niger as they are nationalizing their mines and kicking out the exploitive whites as we speak. Research. Also These were the same ppl who said segregation then, now and forever. Nothing last forever especially nothing bad, exploitation, evil, slavery and parasitic. You and the west are on borrowed time. For avoidance of doubt, Africa does not have any quarrel with either Russia 🇷🇺 or China 🇨🇳. The two countries, together with North Korea 🇰🇵 Cuba 🇨🇺 supported, trained and supplied liberation forces throughout Africa during the fight for independence. They have been trading with Africa since time immemorial. Just about 12% of Africa's total external debt is owed to China yet everybody sees infrastructure everywhere while one struggles to see what the over 88% of the external debt from the usual suspects has been used for. The talk of colonisation, debt trap is meant to deflect from those who have/are indeed colonising and debt trapping Africa

Great interview, the colonial conglomerates were smart in giving SA politicians a stake in their companies. Now the black politicians and professionals are the ones protecting and facilitating this apartheid state and oppressing their ppl whilst deindustrialising SA. SA’s are subjective and won’t acknowledge what Rutendo is saying due to what looks like Stockholm Syndrome, they can’t get enough of servitude and slavery like role they play in the economy. It’s amusing seeing black American visitors being puzzled by how the country is predominantly black yet the economy is in white hands, the neo colonialism is pervasive and is in perpetuity. Good Luck to SA, hopefully war isn’t looming

Very interesting and needed perspective, the whole of African governments and people seem to be portrayed as side characters in the fate of Africa whenever any conflict or crisis arises, if you watch the mainstream western media. Thus if there is a famine we should feel pity and send charity, and if there is a conflict we must intervene - just like Afghanistan and other occupied countries got sent back to stone-age by West's "best intentions" coincidentally often right when they seem to be making real progress 😑

Pascal, if I understand your guest mr. Matinyarare correctly. . . Even though legal racial apartheid seemingly ended on the surface; it didn't really end because of economic apartheid, where white-owned companies and banking systems were preserved; which enabled then to buy off a corrupt part of the ANC who sold out the Revolution for personal gain. . . If that's the case, I think I also see a parallel in my country, USA, where the top leadership of the Congressional Black Caucus were bought and paid for by the same billionaire donor class, to keep the same white establishment power-structure of the Republican and the Democratic Party. . . While the black working class in Urban inner cities, as well as people from Rural America are left behind abandoned due to economic -apartheid American-Style.

@williams.1980
@williams.1980 Жыл бұрын
very good exposition and explanation. still could be broken down into parts and into diagrams and explanations about how finance and ownership and state corruption work together to manage the economy and population. ONe of the things that I think of when considering this model and this system. It is simply a system. It is not like it was just a couple shady deals or something like that. I"m sure there were plenty of those. But it is a system where everything else must support this system or else it will be rooted out and eliminated. But when I think of how this system, economic and population control model works, I think of the significance of the role of commercial and mainstream media plays. And when you think of media, media is a great example where only topics, subjects, narratives, stories, ideas, that support this system are allowed. Everything is allowed except an alternative. As a thought experiment, imagine making this into a multi part documentary. For instance, just the part about how huge western banks control governments and economies. Just that part is actually something that people do not appreciate because, like I said, this kind of idea, narrative, story, economic reality does not live in the society. It does not exist in the public discourse. The drivel that is manufactured just for controlling the population. Controlling the population is a huge part of controlling fake democracy. Again, this kind of dynamic is almost anathema to the regular brain because it is anathema to public discourse, public discussion. commercial media etc. etc. If it existed in the media and public discourse, politicians would be forced to address it and that is not how the system works at all. It is diametrically opposed to how the system works. Root out and eliminate everything that does not support the system. This is extremely effective in how it is laid out in a way that describes the various parts of the system. The various parts of the state and economic control. I make this complaint a lot and it is probably missed place a lot. What is the big deal? What is the problem? In other words, what is wrong with this system? I'm playing devil's advocate. What if you were talking to someone who fully supports this state and economic control model and knows it works just like this. But they love it, they think it is the best possible system out there? How to you argue that there is something wrong with it and that it should be changed for x and y reasons? When I hear great and damning descriptions and expositions about the neoliberal/external privatization model/the foreign imposed austerity model, I love it, but then I want to say "now what"? We can all say in unison "those bastards", but that is not going to do much. We can talk about something else, and then revisit this later and go "those bastards" again. The scary thing is coming up with an alternative. And that is what you would kind of be forced to do if you could make a really good argument for why this system is bad and not the best option out there. Because that is kind of the first thing that you will be asked if you explain that this system has serious problems. So serious that it needs to be changed. Part of the system is blocking change. If part of the system is blocking change?

If apartheid means to be separate "apart"heid it can never end because people have a choice to associate with whoever they want to. That is what apartheid actually means.

At 10.00 minutes: Excellent observation. "Regime change" is almost *always* the goal if a local government doesn't 'lick boots' anymore. Zimbabwe was not Grenada, and could not simply be invaded and the obstructive government toppled with an overt "regime change operation". So another covert strategy was implemented on Zimbabwe. Added benefit? Local leaders could be blamed for all the effects of the sanctions, to which a parallel can be drawn with Venezuela, where the same thing happened.

Listening 🎧 to Rutendo is like having a good morning 🌞 fresh breath 🫁, bro... I commented in one of the KZbin channel comments this morning with the same mentality that , it will take me sometime to see whether BRICS is the right and relevant tool for South Africa and Africa 🌍 in general, particularly having a person like 🎭Cyril💅Ramaphosa😺🤡 involved in there. I am glad we have others like him who are taking a strong observation at the status quo.

Thank you for a very informative and frank discussion. A thought occurred to me about the idea of reparations. Perhaps it is an error to view holocaust reparations as disconnected from the punishment levied against Germany at Versailles. A precedent had been established, in some ways echoed again by the Nord Stream sabotage. With France being kicked out of Africa and all of the receipts in hand, a case for reparations for the current victims of active neo-colonialism makes itself.

Without the French security apparatus in Western Africa, I can’t imagine how local governments hope to deal with the insurgencies plaguing the area.

@@user-nm9qd6bo6h Remember the source of those insurgencies. The west waters and feeds Islamist violence and then has a mystery and problem to solve. The old colonial protection racket is over, watching Europe deal with it is amusing. China and Russia will deal in better faith with Africa than Europe and the US has. Maybe Niger should just give France all of its uranium for said protection from insurgents? Organizing plagues is good business if you sell the cure.
