I will sometimes shoot with Canon lenses only because I like to explore what's out there and possible, not because Sony lenses aren't spectacular. I have no doubt that Sony will continue to release more lenses and in particular more less expensive lenses in the coming year.

Jason Lanier hope they do because it's really lacking variety would be nice to replace all my nikon glass with Sony Zeiss but they need a few more e mount lenses yet

Agreed. But in the 2.5 years I've shot Sony they've quadrupled their lens lineup and I anticipate that will continue...:)

RJM 1982 Zeiss are a really well known optics company there products are Top notch and they do gun scopes. Sony and Zeiss have a good relationship thus why Zeiss are licensed to do some of Sony's lenses. there more expensive but generally of highest quality Sony lenses are done through there own r&d and not manufactured by zeiss
