Amy has her mind set on a pink wedding dress, but mum and grandma disagree. They want to see her in a Marilyn Monroe styled dress, as this is her biggest idol and Amy actually has a tattoo of Marilyn on her arm.

i'm so glad they convinced her to try the marilyn dress on. the pink one is a dress for a bride trying to fake confidence, trying to hide her size and how she feels about her body behind a loud, "crazy" distracting dress. the marilyn dress IS confidence. it speaks to who she is BECOMING, not who she was, it says "damn right i'm sexy and i'm not afraid of it." a longer veil with a silk trim would be absolute PERFECTION with this dress.
