As the oldest sibling in my immediate family , I concur with your comment. Fikret is upset because he knows faruk won't be there to clean up the mess he makes , anymore. As older siblings , we tend to shoulder a lot of responsibility for our younger siblings , and we put ourselves last a lot . Faruk didn't lose emir , the child is still going through a lot after losing his mom , and he needs faruk's undivided attention and support right now . I'm also happy for faruk That he is resigning. Fikret is way too much stress for everyone . He has required more attention than faruk's children . That says a lot

Between Fikret and Ipek, what they did to Sureyya was so hurtful, and only because they were unhappy themselves. Who ends up getting hurt also, Faruk. What a family dynamic!
