The one change that should be made in this show is allowing the bride to purchase her own gown. All the rest is up to the groom, but the wedding gown is something that only the bride can choose for herself. This is something she's been thinking about since young childhood. It's her personal presentation of herself and her love to him. It opens the bride's heart to the fact that her marriage is a coming reality. It's when she expresses her celebration and nobody can buy that for her. In every episode, the groom worries and frets because he's forced to buy something that he is uncertain will fill her need. He must buy very inexpensively ...sometimes that shows. It would be ok to limit the bride to a reasonable budget, but for goodness sake, let her choose. Let her surprise, be the focus and the lovely prize.

Has been for a long time. They can be rented from quite a few places, even here in the States. I'd never pay for another wedding dress, if I was foolish enough to go that route again (which I will not), but I also wouldn't bother with any wedding paraphernalia ever again, either.

Communication let me down. How long do these marriages last….girls are so romantic and not in real world….always wonder about how they dress going to look at a lovely dress with rat tailed hair and tight jeans etc….always with so much mascara which could mark any dress when the tears flow⁉️⁉️🙈‼️🥲
