It's that most men don't place such value on things like expensive fashion as women do and therefore don't understand the need to spend so much on a designer gown r have any idea what their partner would want for a dress. I see divorce in many of their futures, especially the poor girl who's selfish other half bought the ridiculously hideous fairy dress with a wand. That moment would have cemented the end of our relationship for me.

They would of obviously talked prior to this programme, and yet to chose something so out of the box is madness….. What baffles me, is they decided together to sign up for the show, how in the hell are they not even on the same wavelength? Im getting married to my other half in june, we've been together over 20yrs, and all the decisions have been so easy because we are aware of what we both like and dislike and where necessary have compromised on little things for each other, but overall weve been on the same page for everything. Surely, before signing up, you would discuss what would be ok and what would be absolutely unacceptable, so at least it could land somewhere in between!

And I understand it's a tv show, but why would u willingly risk the one day u want to be perfect and memorable, there's lots of things that would be acceptable as not being what u want, the flowers, the venue, the decor....etc but the dress most men understand it's significance and importance and like I said, surely u would have talked before hand and at least gave him a general idea of whats ok for u and what's not.

He knows me better than I know myself half the time. Like you say there will be little bits I will have done differently sure, but overall I know my man would nail it! But then that doesn't make for good tv does it?

For women to complain about their future husband's "not knowing them" because they didn't choose the right dress is ludicrous. How many women (the vast majority of us) spend weeks, months, sometimes YEARS trying to pick their perfect dress. So if their guy really put effort and thought into their choice they need to give them a break! It's the guys that are more concerned about their bachelor party, "stag-do", trying to be funny, or just not caring that much about their future wife's feelings that should REALLY give them cause for worry...

Loved the second bride - she was so over the moon with her best friend turning up and then the dress. So nice to see a very happy bride...the groom did good. This show made me realize how self people are when planning a wedding. It is either her wedding or his wedding. There is not a single episode where they stopped to think its our wedding. It is supposed to represent both of us. Specially on the bride’s side. They just think about what they want. Never even take into consideration the groom’s plan or vision when looking at the wedding dress.

My husband wouldn't have picked the type of dress I wanted(and I knew that)so going for this show wasn't an option-and we got married on a very tight budget(I got my dress online from a high street retailer that had an occassionwear section). I felt comfortable, secure in the fact I looked beautiful.

If my man was as inconsiderate and selfish as some of these grooms I’d call off the wedding.
