Dani J. Roberts of course you’d say that, you literally don’t know anything else considering you were still basically a child when you got married lol. If you live in America, you couldn’t even rent a car or have an alcoholic drink at your own wedding lol and don’t get me started on your under developed prefrontal cortex. Anyway, marriage statistics aren’t on your side (again assuming you live in the USA there’s a 60% divorce rate and steadily rising) but I truly hope your marriage beats it and serves as an example of an exception.
@hhhhhhhng43806 жыл бұрын
Actually, the divorce rate is getting lower and lower, it peaked at about 40% in the 70s and 80s because of a really big feminist movement where women realized a lot about their role in life but today people are a lot smarter about marriage so the divorce rate is pretty much at an all-time low since that whole movement 40ish years ago so good luck to Dani J. Roberts because the odds arent as against her as you might think
@JudyAbbott4946 жыл бұрын
La la la if you were basically a child at your 19 that's your issue. Some people just know what they want in life earlier than others. Statistics doesn't define anybody's life or future

So many things: 1. You're not alone. Sleeping in the same bed is just about the best thing. Having someone to talk to, to go on a walk with, to share great experiences with. Someone to share the load with. 2. Someone to challenge you. Help you stay grounded, help motivate you to keep going forward. 3. Someone to laugh with and play with at any moment. Someone to hold your hand, someone YOU can help and support. 4. Someone to protect you and defend you if anyone tries to tear you down. 5. As Queen says, Somebody to Love.

The thing I love the most about these videos is how they show how different dynamics work for different couples. It isn't one size fits all and assuming a particular scenario wouldn't work out based on you were told growing up e.g dating someone 10 years older or meeting someone in a bar might lead to you missing out the beautiful experience that you were meant to have. At the of the day love always wins.

Loved these! I’ve been married to my husband 5 years next February. He was 20, I was 19. We’ve been through so much together. The good, the bad, happiness and sadness. But one thing I can most definitely relate to in this video, is the comfortability I feel with him. Some people think it’s a bad thing and I couldn’t agree less. To have someone who knows you inside and out and loves you anyway is the best feeling. Just had to put that out there, loooved this clip 😌

I've been married a little over a year, and I have said every single one of these things to my wonderful husband. Hearing the older couples reiterate them with years of experience makes me so eager for the rest of the life I'm going to have with him. If I had to pick the very best thing currently, it's getting to fall asleep and wake up next to him every single day. We waited to do that until we were married, and now I remind myself every day that we're living the best kind of sleepover that could exist all of the time.

I honestly don’t understand why weddings are such a big deal. I know it’s a money making business, but is it worth going into debt over? Getting married is not an accomplishment, but staying together is. THIS deserves to be celebrated.
@nurdanjotham8966 жыл бұрын
Patrice C yes true but that's the whole point of getting married. You get married to stay together. Nobody gets married to get divorced after 1 year. Of course nothing is ever guaranteed
@hannahparks63966 жыл бұрын
Dont have a wedding, get married at the court house then have a "get together" after. Everyone brings a dish and a gift and celebrates your choice to love each other forever.
@carriel72196 жыл бұрын
I didn't go into debt over my wedding, and would never have got married just now if I'd needed to in order to have the wedding that I wanted. That said, my wedding, which was almost 2 months ago now, was a huge deal for me. I adored having a day to share my love and commitment to my best friend and partner of 6 and a half years in front of all our family and friends. I don't consider it an accomplishment, but that doesn't mean it wasn't important to my husband and I.
@cherrytree6636 жыл бұрын
Patrice C- You don't need to have a grand wedding to get married. As a matter of fact, you don't need a wedding to get married. Marriage stems from religious faiths. It is an exchange of vows which reinforces commitment. The wedding is just a celebration. Please show some respect as marriage is important to many religions and cultures.
