How refreshing to see someone showcasing an early 60’s Strat without launching into Hendrix/SRV. I’ve watched a ton of your videos now after subscribing and I must say you’ve shown us how well you know your way around that Strat. You remind me of LesPaul’s Jazzy style. Regarding vintage pickups, there’s no doubt they have something of their own. I have 4 Strats, one of which is a 1982 AVRI in which the pickups outshine all the others. Yes, it’s a CBS but Fullerton made & 42 years old. Neck 5.72, Mid 5.87, Bridge 5.66 kOhms. Incidentally, on some videos you state it’s a ‘61 & on others a ‘62, which is it?

@@mattguitarwater Thank you for information. I was surprised that 7.25 radius allows to bend so easily but high action can help. As to your videos it is uncommon to see that guitar and amp is enough and music goes from heart, head and hands :> Many usefull observations and inspirations from your style.
