Another banger. I can’t get enough of this presentation style. The aesthetics, editing, music, and even the way the review is structured feels so… put-together. Put together like two pieces of clickety-clack track! Loved this one too. I liked the bits of personal history and regional flair you added as well. One set I was enamoured with when I was younger that I’m sure you’d be able to build is the Day at the Works set. I was confounded as to why a set would have Thomas and S.C.Ruffey together. Also, there are, if I remember correctly, multiple versions of that set which could be interesting to look into to. Finally, seeing as it’s a smaller set compared to the others you’ve looked at so far, you could discuss whether or not it has ENOUGH going on for play value. Just a thought.

Dude you just took my back to when I was in Kindergarten and First Grade. I remember having these sets and I still have several items from the Thomas Wooden Railway line. Thanx for the video! I might just try and reconstruct this set with the parts I already have and get the rest off eBay. Thanx for the nostalgic feelings 😊

You had an Eagle’s Nest too?? Mine had the Around the Barrel Loader set along with lots of other toys and games. It was the only fun part of going grocery shopping with my parents lol. They took it out and replaced it with some bank or something several years ago. Anyways, this is an awesome review.

The fact that they put Skarloey and Neil, are in the same set can’t be a coincidence. But also, it doesn’t seem like the team who put the set together would do that much research.

Is this the year Thomas Wooden Railway was introduced in the UK or was it available there from the start? Lately I’ve been seeing evidence suggesting it coming here at a later date than 1993.

i'll be honest, to me this feels like it's designed moreso as an expansion pack with a bonus example layout. the scene is just lackluster. no contrast, no depth, no variance, no scenic divide, no nothing. 3 parallel bridges and a tunnel with a loop inside another loop. for something called the bridge and tunnel set, there is very little elevation. the bridges and tunnels do not interact whatsoever. it seems they cobbled it together without any regard for what's actually appealing about seeing bridges and tunnels like on the fabled season 3 shot. fortunately though with the great selection of track and features, it would not be difficult to make a much cooler layout yourself.
