In Book 4 of the series, Colin starts to see her as a woman. He does say in the book that for years he only saw her as a little sister. It's actually a small struggle for him in the book because he suddenly starts seeing her as a woman and has to remind himself that she isn't actually his sister and being attracted to her is okay. It's heavily theorized next season is going to be focused on Polin (it's confirmed they're not going by book order for the show) given what Colin said and how the line plays a major role in the romance storyline for the two in the books.

Jonathan Bailey is handsome and a great great actor!! Simone is a Disney Princess… both of them were just perfect as Anthony and Kate. I loved this season so much and I really enjoyed your reaction. Hope to see more of them on season 3 🤞🏽🥰

I LOVED season one and still do, but this one took my heart. I really hope we see a lot more of this couple in the future seasons since they'll be living with the Bridgertons still (as opposed to Daphne, who only shows up occasionally since she moved away). They deserved more screentime and hopefully after seeing the popularity of the characters, they'll get it in between the other siblings' stories!

@@tvdjarley8018 I think an interesting dynamic to explore with the couple is the idea of Kate having trouble getting pregnant, even though she's only 26/27 when they get married. Coming from a family of 8 children and being determined to have sons of his own, it would challenge Anthony further, and we would get to see fertility issues from Kate's perspective seeing as she didn't intend on having children before she met him. They need a storyline. I don't want them to just be background characters next season like daphne was this season.

I loved this season SO SO much. Season 1 was really good but this season just raised the bar. A whole other level. How are they going to match this in season 3?! I hope they follow the books and next season is Benedict but with some focus on Eloise (and hopefully Theo) 🥰

You probably know this by now, but the show has already been renewed for Seasons 3 and 4. Also, Shonda Rhimes confirmed in a recent interview that they won't be following the book order. No one is saying which sibling will be next, but there's been a lot of heavy hinting that it will be Colin and Penelope. I have a feeling Eloise will be Season 4.

I don't know what's wrong with me. This season has made me feel all the feelings. I fucking cried in the end. I didn't even like the first season and expected to not like this either since I didn't even like Anthony as a character. But fuck me this was satisfying. I didn't even mind the fanfic-feeling, wasn't as bad as s1 but it was still there. I didn't even mind the cringy moments. I fucking loved this from start to finish.

I loved every second of Kate and Anthony and wanted more scenes between them. We didn't get nearly enough Happy Kathony. I hope to see more of them in season 3. 🤞🏾 I was watching the fight scene and realized that Pen has been gaslighting her own best friend for months. I have no sympathy for her. Can't wait to see how they handle the "break up" next season and will Eloise share the secret with the fam 🤔 Seems like most of the fan base did not appreciate so much focus being on the Featheringtons, but I enjoyed them this year and was happy to see Portia have a bit of a love interest. I'm glad you enjoyed this season! Also, your reactions to emotional scenes is so sweet! 🥺😭

Renewed for 2 more seasons, they are due to begin filming in early summer. If they follow the books it will be Benedict next season, but also there have been hints that they may not follow the book order. I don’t think it will be Eloise next season, just based on her book there are other things that need to happen first, assuming that they do not diverge from the books so drastically as to change who she ends up with.

idk...I just can't see phillip being a better match than theo. I also found eloise bk boring so in all honesty I really hope they take two steps to the left in the show and find someone else. This is an alternate universe after all.

@@livelovelife32 I don't think they will change it that drastically, I have heard that when Julia Quinn sold the rights that one of the conditions was that the couples remain the same. If that is true then Eloise will end up with Philip, and if he isn't endgame for Eloise then his and Marina's story so far has been pointless.

I love this season so damn much, their chemistry and the story itself was so so good. I am worried about the next seasons tho. I, for one, do not care about Colin at all (he annoys me quite a bit in fact), and actually think the best course of action for Pen's character growth would be to move on. I have not read the books so I could be completely off but, given how much time screen time they get, I fear they could end up together after all. I think at the end of the day, the writers of the show will feel obliged to follow the main book couples, whoever they are, even if the journey there is different

Loved this season! Hoping for Benedict next, though they have hinted that they might not follow the order of the books. I have a feeling they will go with Penelope and Colin, though I know I'm in the minority but I don't really find them that interesting as individuals or as a couple.

I feel the same way about them but I'm going to have faith that the writers can make it work and pull us in. I think they should include more Kate and Anthony to fill that space, because Penelope and Collin aren't exciting enough on their own.

I totally agree with you, when Penelope and Colin looked at each other I feel nothing, no love, no tension, no passion. I only feel sorry for Pen, because she is being friendzoned so much and I think she should move on and find another one. I don't know, I wasn't expecting this second season to be this good but I fell deeply in love with Kanthony. So maybe the writers can do a good job with Pen and Colin too, let's hope so

The “Showname (episode) Reaction” title format doesn’t perform as well as some other formats. You have great content and need to blow up! 🥰 You like LGTB+ and gaming content right? I disagree I think season 1 is much better than season 2. But both are good and your opinion is as valid as mine. Season 3 & 4 are already approved. Season 3 is benedict 4 is Colin.

It has been hinted by Shonda Rhimes that they may not follow the book order, there has been speculation that it will be Colin next season. We will no doubt find out in a month or two if they announce casting for Benedict’s love interest. Filming is due to start late May/early June.

@@chadbernard2641 I hadn’t seen that they have confirmed that Benedict is next, I know they want to do all siblings. As for Francesca, I think they ran into issues after they began filming when the actress got a leading role in another series that filmed at the same time, but they didn’t know how to write her out, so just ignored her. A bit like S3 of sex education when Olivia just kind of never appears in the last episodes because Simone Ashley got Bridgerton. They are going to have to work out what they will do with Francesca as we should be getting her first marriage in the next season.

@@chadbernard2641 yeah, it is another Netflix show I think. I am not sure about Francesca, but definitely am interested in Hyacinth’s story, so I hope they go that far. Anthony and Kate were my favourite, so I am really keen to see them progress.
