It was trash after this episode. the bury your gays trope is so old, stale, tired, and lazy, plus the lesbian goes bad trope, and for a lame two episode arc for willow. I turned it off after this season, and literally never got invested in a queer couple on tv again. it's not subtle killing a lesbian right after sex. it's absolutely disgusting, and it's still happening.

I had a crush on Natalie Portman, but she liked Mila Kunis. So, both of them being in this movie was a +. 😊 After the movie, my best friend was like "WTF? That movie was trippy as Hell."😄 Sorry, pushed the "post" button a bit too soon so had to add an edit. I wanted to say that Natalie Portman was asked in an interview if shooting a sex scene w/Mila Kunis was awkward or strange. Ms. Portman said something like, "Not really. Mila & I have been really close friends for years, so we were pretty comfortable w/each other. I don't know if I could have done that w/anyone else..." So, I guess it was just 2 actress friends having fun.😄 Anyway, glad u liked the film. Can't wait to see what u got next for us.😊

I think for people deeply familiar with the story and lore watching someone basically entirely unfamiliar with the story we forget how much is unsaid in the movies. Nothing you said or assumed is problematic. Or like even wrong. Sam and frodo for example being queercoded by folk is not new. I remember Ian McKellen talked expressly about the connection between frodo and Sam and how much that mean to him as a gay man. Not understanding why Arwen cries for frodo when she's 'just met him' makes sense when you don't have the context that she having the fastest horse going full tilt for days to save what is merely a child to her for the good of the world and love of aragon isn't explicitly talked about. I remember also being confused by that as a kid when I first saw it. I hope you found a love for this story rather than being put off by long standing know it alls.

You are the first reactor who has said that. Aside from the two actors who played Peter who are father and son irl, I think these two actors look the most alike. I thought they had aged Oliver Mascucci with makeup and prosthetics at first. Even the other instance of real life father and son (adult and older Unknown) don't look as much alike imo. 9:41

This is not an accusation but an observation. It's disheartening that so many reactors misgender Bernadette. I have actually stopped watching some because it didn't end there. There were outright transphobic remarks. I can overlook the misgendering. It's annoying but at this point at least it's not clear cut that she's trans.
