First Comes Scandal is my favorite of the prequels too! It's such a a sweet warm book with little to no real conflict. I love my angst but every once in a while you just want something sweet and cozy and this hit all the right spots for me ❤

Had to come back to this video to tell you that I went in to Ollie’s today to look at the books. And guess what I found. Yep. I found the 4 prequels to the Bridgerton Series. I was so excited. And got them at a very good price..🤩🎨🗞️📖📚 This was on 5/6/24

🐈 Love all the Bridgerton books and so glad you loved the prequel series! I read the Bridgertons first then the Rokesbys then the Smythe-Smiths (which you'll know about after the Bridgertons). I haven't watched the show at all (even though that's what introduced the series to me). I can't stand the changes that have continued to happen (especially skipping the 3rd book!). Can't wait to hear what you think of the series. The first book The Duke and I has a questionable scene and it's not the best book, but they all get much better after that.

I actually knew of these books and did get tempted to start them. I did start to read the Bridgerton series before the TV show came on, but stopped as i did not see any point when i watched the adaptations

I think you could absolutely get away without reading the Rokesbys series if you wanted to start with the Bridgertons.
