I believe they will change things as they go , I heard the creator said that we will see more of Theo and Eloise in season 3 , she said “I think some work has definitely been done this season to set Eloise up for future seasons and I think Theo’s very much a part of that,”

I don't understand how there are people who like Phillip and Eloise together, they don't match at all. I am convinced that these people who ship them don't believe in true love, and what she had with Phillip in the books ain't it. Theo is her soulmate and he is IT.

I have hope they will change her story , all the fans love Eloise and I’m sure people will stop watching it if they give her that horrid story from the books , they already made changes to the story line , like Marina was Eloise’s cousin in the book so it made sense she met Philip but in this story she’s Penelope’s cousin so maybe one of the featherington sisters will follow that story line. Fans love Theo and Eloise so hopefully they get that forbidden love story in a future season . The creator already said that these season they set up Eloise for a future season and Theo was a part of that , so let’s see.

That’s one of my favourite traits about Anthony in the books, him being the head of the Bridgerton family, and them really relying on him and respecting and looking up to him. I loved Eloise. I loved that she got more light in this season and her character had more development. She is so adorable and Claudia did such a wonderful playing her rebellious and intelligent spirit. I loved that her in that scene where she finds out about Pen and her delivery of that scene was perfect. Wonderful job Claudia!

I was so sad everytime she tried to speak with Penelope and Penelope was all about Lady Whistledown and crushing Eloise's dreams because 'it's not proper', and then most of the fans put the blame on Eloise ? Like she's just trying to be herself with her friend and then Penelope having her own problems constantly tells her 'no' or redirects the conversation towards herself...☹️

Honestly, Colin and Eloise deserve someone better that not only loves them but is honest and loyal to them above their own self interest (being her anonymous identity as a notorious gossip). People are redeemable but I don't see how Colin can fall for someone he can't trust when it not only comes to him but his beloved sister and family.

Eloise is honestly my favourite character and I think her character is going to really be one to challenge the social classes and fight for women's rights in the era and possibly be the one who leads the charge in changing things in their world. Around the expectations of women and all of them having to find husbands when they reach a certain age and compete for the diamond. I am interest to see her continue her political pursuits and continue the love and relationship between her and Theo as well as go against the grain with them being separated by class.

So much as I love Season 2 and still adore Penelope and Eloise as a character. Seeing so much hate on Penelope on the internet makes me wonder how will the writers or will they redeem Penelope after throwing her under the bus (We all know this is totally different from the books) and how would Eloise forgive her and how would Colin fall in love with her after what the writers made Penelope do to both Marina and Eloise? Her motivations were her trying to protect the people that she loves ❤️ it wasn’t vindictive and she felt like she was left with no choice because they weren’t listening to her she’s always being dismissed and the only person anybody really seems listen to is lady whistle down. I never had any ill feelings towards Penelope I feel like a lot of people are judging her based off of what they’ve already experienced with gossip girl pretty little liars and early 2000 tabloids 📰 that was really harsh and cruel and judgmental. But if you actually listen to what she’s printing what she’s saying it is a commentary on the society that they are living in and the hypocrisy of it and she is pointing out that nobody is perfect and it’s ridiculous all the expectations everybody’s expected to live up to and she’s proven more than once that if you are rich and pretty you can’t actually be ruined. This society is all about the rich elite marrying the rich elites. So they can keep maintaining generational wealth. All the rich privileged people are in one place you can’t actually get rid of them or ruin them you can give them,The side eye 👁 for a couple days possibly a week or two. The things that she says are only scandalous because this self-absorbed privilege rich people have a huge branch stuck up their ass. You really don’t need to take yourself that seriously 😒 Plus Penelope is a business woman with employees who depend on her income. In the books she’s the one who’s financing her mom she set her up for life with an inheritance she forged a Will using whistle down money and pretending it’s from her dead aunt. And I read on the Internet that some of those delivery boys are from an orphanage that she’s sponsoring with whistledown money and them delivering the papers is a bonus for their pocket money 💰 offering them comfort and opportunities that they never had before

So I'm watching Line of Duty series 4 with Thandiwe Newton, and there is this character with a pony tail and dark rimmed glasses who keeps reminding me of someone i've seen before. I look up the name, and OMG it's Claudia Jessie who was such a stand out for me in Bridgerton. Nothing significant yet but I think they need to play out both their stories soon and I am thinking this will be season 3 along with the Penn and Eloise story with some hints of Colin's love story beginning - just my guess. I seriously will never understand how theo fans would 'stop watching' and 'riot', if the show puts Eloise and Phillip on the show as its meant to be in the books, because of how much hate the character Phillip gets. I'm sorry, but I'm certain Shonda and show writers will not disappoint the author, nor are they allowed to change who the bridgeton siblings end up with. Period. Also theres been many interviews and proof from writers, that Eloise will go through a character arc, to grow more mature and open to the idea of love and marriage. What fans, need to understand is, due to Eloise's high reputation as a Bridgerton, it would be unlikely for her to be with Theo, and 'try' to make it work. Eloise is outspoken and rebellious for the right reasons of class, and having Theo be that as well, and with her, their opinions of feminism will clash.. This is why Phillip is perfect for her. He's sweet, and supportive and respectful of her for who she is. He does not belittle her, like how we watched Theo guilt trip her, because Phillip is a man. I highly encourage show watchers to read Eloise's book, because in the book she is not a feminist. Eloise and Phillip, are characters that always felt misunderstood, and like they didn't ever belong. So them finding each other and happening on the show, is proof that they are everything they've been waiting for. Theo is just there to teach Eloise that it's okay to love. And will then leave. Theo is literally an 'in the meantime' character for Eloise. Eloise and Phillip forever.

How on earth will the showrunners resolve their friendship when it was Colin who finds out causing the friction between C/P. E/P's friendship is vital. Things are messy, it's Penelope who goes to the 'wrong' side of town as in RMB. I hope Eloise doesn't blackmail/banish Pen from the Bridgerton family.
