Hi, I’m watching your S3 Bridgerton reactions from New Zealand. Just starting your reaction to E4 and realised you haven’t reacted to Ep’s 5, 6,7 & 8. I must point out the skin and hair care products of 2024 are many times superior to those of 1815. But the cast of course enjoys the former (hence the lack of bonnet protecting the ladies' faces). Barons (such as Lord Featherington) are below a Viscount. Interestingly, the wife of an Earl is called a Countess. Colin's writing was all about how strange he found it to be physically close to someone but not emotionally intimate. He even described a few minutes about how "lonely" this sort of thing is. Colin is NOT a playboy by nature. He is a Romantic, longing for love and to be loved. But he, like Penelope and so many lonely people, suspects no one CAN love him. They both didn't believe this was possible. Until it was. And then they JUMPED on each other!
