I have so much to talk about regarding the Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 trailer. The mirror scene is happening. Everybody is looking for Lady Whistledown. Eloise threatens Penelope because she wants Pen to tell Colin about her identity. Penelope faints and all the more happens. Let’s do a teaser breakdown! OMG the Benedict and Lady Tilly bits were so frustrating. I guess it's an attempt to continue to keep Benedict's story building but it was awful! I mean who wanted to see them? Not me!

to be honest, im getting tired of Eloise thinking she has any right to hold everyone else up to her own personal standards. Colin is his own person and has made worse mistakes than marrying Penelope. She's not only being exceedingly selfish, but malicious towards someone she once deemed her best friend. you can be upset about something like LW, but Pen really did do it to protect Eloise. The Queen was gonna punish E harshly for something she didnt do, yet she has the gall to not see beyond her own ego and bullshit. if this were a modern tale, she'd get herself roughed up for sticking her nose where it doesn't belong...and she's long overdue for at least a slap to the face. Like, hush up already. she's not the one marrying Penelope, so this literally doesnt concern her.

I feel the trailers made Eloise worse than she actually was. I do get that she is protecting her brother and Penelope should not take forever to tell him. You can’t start a marriage on lies. Also, their argument and resolution will be less harsh (i hope) when it comes from Penelope. But like multiple people, I would for Colin to follow her to the printing press.

I agree but we forget that these characters are supposed to be teenagers :/ So, I don't expect much maturity from Eloise or Penelope, to be honest.

And the Marcus Anderson story line was a total waste of time. In such a long awaited season, to throw so many other character story lines in was freaking painful. The Mondrich scenes were not all bad but I could have used at least two fewer of them.

I said this exact thing on Facebook. The Mondrich storyline could have ended with Simon. They aren't in the books, and I don't find them relevant to the story. They were given way too much screen time.

They did have to get Francesca married, as she is widowed in her story. In thr books, her husband passes away within 2 years of their wedding and she is widowed a year or two before her story.

Its hard to know what will happen. We know that things will be dramatic whether they follow the book or not.. Colin was really afraid for Penelope because she offended a lot of people. I am wanting to see that mirror scene.

The mirror scene is weird (wait for it) because it is part of their famous bedroom scene. I hope they do both parts justice because their first time in full is such a special scene to me.

Oh, just came back to say the teaser for part 2 plays if you let the credits run on episode 4. It’s like a post-credits scene and completely hidden otherwise, you can’t get to it via the “trailers” tab.

there is to few scenes of pen and collin i kept waiting for more but it had a very slow burn. and how come we never got a scene of pen after she and collin kissed for the first time? we know Collin had wet dreams after, but what about her? yes she loves him but she must have been waiting for this her whole life and then nothing. i was really disappointed that she barely said anything or showed any feelings after her first kiss. she knew he only did it to please her but he kissed her more than once and then she just left.

The scene is pretty much the same in the book except it’s revealed that although thinking it was a bad idea Colin wants to kiss her. I think it worked really well.

I am with you. But I think her mind was focused on everything else including her being set on the fact it won’t happen. I feel their first meeting, which they should have filmed, was her awakening. The kiss was his.

Based on the sets and clothing, I don’t think the teaser for part 2 is edited is in order. The room that the mirror scene takes place isn’t Colin or Penelope’s rooms. I can’t figure out where it is and we’ve never seen that dress on Penelope. The engagement party and the fainting happen on the same night. I think that Colin knows about Lady Whistledown when Cressida’s admission paper comes out (when he’s turned around as people are reading the short sheet) but that’s not the night of their engagement party.

The look on her face could suggest that she’s remembering fondly how much she loved Whistledown when she first started writing and maybe this is when she’ll start forgiving Penelope. She may come to see that she wrote some of the things to protect her and her family.

Does anyone want an over the top comedic reveal with Penelope and Colin. It will fit true to the books. And if Eloise is in the room, it can be a mix of yelling, comedic crying, and whatever. Colin: how dare you? To Eloise/ you knew. Penelope: she figured it out. Eloise: i needed her to tell you. Colin: are you mocking me? Penelope: i write angry, but I wasn’t mocking you. And later: Colin: now thinking about it, you do write the truth and everyone knows anyway even before you write it. Eloise: colin Colin: be quiet eloise Something like that will feel like the book’s tone a bit.

I would have liked seeing Pens sisters getting married and their stories. They were funny. And of course, I would have liked seeing more of Pen and Collin. I blame Netflix. I got the same disappointment when I watched Avatar the Last Airbender. In some things, they need to stay true to the books and not hurry up or shorten story lines. Hopefully, part 2 is better.

I wish people would stop hating on Eloise. In that day and age, what Penelope did could ruin not just Eloise, but her whole family. It wasn’t to save Eloise, it was to save herself and was exceedingly selfish! Not many of us could overcome such a betrayal. And neither would any of us want a sibling entering a marriage with such a big lie being covered. She has every right to still be angry, disappointed and sad over the loss of her friendship, and also expect Pen to tell Colin the truth before they marry.

I agree with you. Eloise comforted Penelope after the announcement of Marina and Colin's engagement. This occurred after Penelope told Eloise that not everyone can be a pretty Bridgerton. As Eloise left her in tears. She saved her from being captured by the Queens men, believing they were going to capture Lady Whistledown. Although Eloise had no idea Penelope was in the carriage. It is a shame people give Penelope so much grace, yet are harsh with Eloise.

Problem is Eloise was going to ruined regardless if LW written about her or not. People tend forget that Queen Charlotte basically threat last season. It didn’t help Eloise when she left Anthony wedding to see Theo about LW
