This movie had so much potential but wasted it so BAD. I was tremendously excited at the announcement of this movie even though the cast was mostly new. And Rita Ora as the Queen just ATE and left no crumbs and her outfits all SLAY. But let's be real this movie's plot flopped so hard it's crazy. The climax (if you could even call it that) was a major letdown because the main issue got resolved THAT easily, like giving candy to a baby. We didn't see the main characters struggle to achieve their goals, and the movie as a whole felt heavily rushed. Not to mention the plotholes like how did Cinderella and Fairy Godmother go to the same school? Why were the villains banished to the Isle of the Lost if they were at some point just normal teenagers? Why was the Red Queen not banished to the Isle in the first place if she was evil?? Why did Red and Chloe need to go to the past and stop Uliana form getting the book, if the book was hexed and would have stopped the VKs anyway?

@@Koboreso um No it wasn’t Bad or a letdown I think they saving the much Bigger stuff like Castlecoming for part 2 for The Rise of Red and that’s why Red’s mom is nicer towards cause remember what Maddox Hatter said There could be consequences for messing up the timeline and I’m sure Red and Chloe are gonna go back in the past to fix their mistake so yea the movie was good and we will probably get a part 2 that will lead to all the unanswered questions

They filmed the ending before the announcement of the sequel so when they changed the plot to work with a part 2, they were left with a "happy ending" and 30min of plot moved to another film

@@mariahking88okay so I’ve watched it now, and…… I hate it- I thought I was gonna hate the movie bc of the new characters and actors, but nah it was straight up terrible. And it just bored me, super bored me. I thought it would have more mystery, but no just basically straight up they know their missions, like the oh vis they had fight-fight and do all sorts of stuff. And what’s with the insanely bright blue and red outfits for Red and Chloe?-(and they changed every single storyline of our Disney characters) And there’s already a show for basically this whole movie (except the part where u break into song) called ‘Ever After High’ and the plot rlly had nothing to do with the other movies. The acting was gold but it’s the script for me and the way they did it. And Uma could have said that Carlos had gone with Mal,Ben,Evie, and Jay out to sea instead of bringing it up like that. Also making it look like she was gaslighting Fairygodmother, “don’t do it for me, do it for him, Carlos would have wanted this” 😮 like wha- anyway. Red says that the og vks are all middle aged now, but.. her mother, Mal’s mother went to the same school at the same time. Either she’s just as old as them(which she is not) or they skipped a generation(Cindy didn’t bc of Chad). And last thing I think- Why did they call Cinderella, Ella as a teen bc in the original Cinderella movies her name was Cindy before she preferred it to be Cinderella
