Bless you for these podcasts... I cannot tell you how grateful I am to work my way through these..I have enjoyed every single exercise and I my discouragement with drawing the human form is slowly disappearing with each drawing. I was so ready to quit life drawing classes I was signed up for.. ( only 4 so far) but I now am looking forward to the next one with a fresh new start and motivation....Thank you again for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for art with us.

I’m so glad that perspective made its way into this. This is so incredibly valuable to understand when one can’t seem to make the pieces fit together but they all look ok on their own. Bless you Marshall, you are a gentleman and a scholar.

For the Yaw, Pitch and Roll, I think I found something to help me remember using real world head movements. A Yawed head disagrees (Back and forth on the Y axis) A Pitched head agrees (Up and down on the X axis) Yet a Rolled head is confused (Tilt of the head in the Z axis going, "Huh?")

The Yaw, Pitch, and Roll, reminds of the terms from Steve Huston. I tried to convert them like this: The block is.. Yaw = Facing Pitch = Tilting Roll = leaning

Pretty glad that I don't have to find another person and take pictures, rather just do this on my own, otherwise it would've been a huge pain finding someone

When doing the exercise for this session, are we suppose to just use straight lines and curves (we don't draw the blocks like we did for the previous exercise)?

I really don't get this. Just an hour of theory and not really good examples. This isn't a dig at Marshall, this is me being too stupid for the material. I'll just go back to drawing boxes.
