I seen her run in 2016 at the Colorado state track meet in Jeffco stadium. She's way more competitive on the track.

She was NCAA Pac 12 Freshman of the Year at UCB. She won NXN in 2016 by A LOT (and she fell). She's doing great as a Freshman in both, but Katelyn Tuohy, age 15 in NY is blowing 21-year-old Brie away this past season.

I'm pretty sure the athletes know they've won before they film the "surprise". It's more just acting. I agree, the beginning is always so cringeworthy.

I HATE these FAKE Gatorate "Player of the Year" awards. They are sooooo tacky and fake. There were cameras in Brie's High School math/stats class and yet they all have to pretend they don't know what's going on. One of the worst was the male Cross Country runner the police pulled over for "speeding" and then he presented the award. Like 2-3 years ago. Can't remember his name. How is that funny? Waste of police resources. And again cameras everywhere. And the Katelyn Tuohy one a couple of weeks ago, when she's all dressed up "shopping" for shoes and then Mary Cain comes out. Awesome that post-high school major FLOP Cain came out though. Gatorade- please stop these super TACKY "surprise" videos. Cringe-worthy!!!!

Wow! Brie Oakley, Claudia Lane and Katelyn Tuohy magnificent athletes with the greatest of talent that make the very best, happen... whew!!!!! Those three brilliant Ladies are world forces to be recon with. I'm glad they're girls who represent the finest in any individuals.

Brie was 20 years old as a senior running track in High School!!! How is this even allowed? Did her parents hold her back 3-4 years just so she could be tops in soccer? In the Arcadia Invitational 3200 last year in 2017, Brie was 20-years-old while Malibu's Claudia Lane (who barely beat Brie), was a 15-year-old sophomore! That is a 5 year age difference. How did NOBODY ever mention Brie's age- hello Mile Split-where is your reporting on this sport cheat! I'm sorry, but Brie's age is cheating. Most 20-year-olds are JUNIORS in college, not a senior in High School. Brie obviously didn't flunk in school either, because she goes to UC Berkeley now, one of the top universities in the U.S.A..

She was NOT held back academically 3 years- her parents obviously held her back in school on purpose for athletic purposes. She was a star soccer payer for years, so I'm sure her father did this for a soccer scholarship... but she ended up being a running superstar Senior year High School

No she was not. She was born March 25, 1997 which means she was 20-years-old during her High School Senior track season in Colorado. No wonder she was a top runner in High School- she is 2 to 6 years older than everyone! At 20 she should have been running Junior year in college!!!!
