I felt the pain in this song... I had a crush on a girl (yes I am bi) and I confessed to her one time. She said she liked me back but after 1 week of not talking to her, I asked if she was free to continue making the story I made because I was really bored. Then she said she had a new boyfriend, one she loved dearly, one that she cared a lot for, one that was luckier than me... I said I was happy for her then I started tearing up and when my mom saw me, I lied and said it was about an anime show. I did not want to worry her nor did I want to get the girl I liked in trouble, and when my mom saw the messages in my phone (yes she goes through my phone), she told me "I told you not to like her... It was already too obvious, next time don't like someone or love someone you don't trust. Well, at least she is happier when I'm not around... 😁

I heard this version before Katy Perry's and instantly fell in love with it some years back. Last month, I went through my most serious heartbreak, the star-crossed lovers kind of thing. We had a call late at night and both cried like kids while talking about how we can never be together due to some reasons and said goodbye to eachother, that's when we closed the last chapter of our love story.
