What a beautiful video, especially with the Ibex and thunder storm. The forked lightning strike at 4:01 where the ground contacts must be at least 10km apart shows just how dangerous it can be during a storm, watch at x0.25 speed.

What a wonderful hiking place , Sylvia 😊 It would be perfect for me. Because of the wonderful sorrounding landscape and the animals 😁. It was very interesting to hear that ibex 's whistle. I didn't know they could do that. I thought it would be more a " bééé..."😅 And you know something strange about me? When I am either running or hiking i don't get so tired when I am going up. I get more tired running down. I guess my breaks don't function very well 😂

Took this trip yesterday and it is absolutely amazing but not for the faint hearted. Being able to look down a thousand feet or so just next to the track can be a bit worriesome. No Ibex visible close up but one was seen at a distance on the way down. Then a relaxing trip on a historic paddle steamer from Brienz to Interlaken and back. Weather was very sunny and hot although it did get quite a bit cooler at the top of Rothorn.
