Hi Briffidi, What can I do if the grip of my racket is too big to fit in the adapter all the way down?

What do you mean by "all the way down"? The bottom surfaces are tapered so that they center the end of the handle. If the grip fits into the adapter at all, it should reach the tapered surfaces. The handle should not fit all the way down through the opening.

What was the reason for developing a new version? And are the two adapters comparable in terms of accuracy? Can the measured values be compared in relation to tennis rackets? What are your experiences? Thank you very much!

There were three main drivers. The prior version has many parts and is time-intensive to build. Use of the prior version required alignment of the racquet to achieve consistent measurements. Lastly, it required a "hack" to measure pickleball paddles. Both adapters produce the same measurement results, but the new one is easier to use.

Thank you for your quick reply. Then I am reassured. 😉

Excellent work with the continuing innovation, Brian. Have you done any testing with regards the effect of a buttcap that isn’t seated squarely on the handle, given that this version requires a racquet to be stood on its buttcap? Presumably this is offset by having a four point collar to steady the handle.

Thanks! There is a tapered interface at the bottom that centers the butt cap, and the collet centers further up the handle. A slightly crooked butt cap shouldn't have much of an effect.
