4:19 I levelled the front feet relative to each other differently. I first raised the rear foot so that the SW1 was inclined forward. Then adjusted the front feet so that the rod pointed exactly at 6 o’clock (ie: front feet now level to each other but lower than rear foot). Finally, lowered the rear foot until the rod was free floating (SW1 now perfectly level). I found this easier to do than the method described in this video; YMMV. HUGE shout out to Brian for creating the SW1! What an exceptional piece of kit it is! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🤩🤩🤩

Received mine yesterday, it's great quality, well built, super fun to mess around with - many thanks for designing such a gadget and selling it to the market, saves me all the million trips to the busy pro shops and probably the $1000 USD extra i was going to to get a 3-in-1

EDIT: My problem was that I hadn't added the device to my android by scanning the NFC tag. Working now When I try calibrating, each step is satisfied except for the last one "Periods: 2 less than 1 and 3" I'm on android, a galaxy s21. First measurement: Moment of inertia 7.93, Period 0.26, Fit residual 0.1534 Second measurement group: 1. Moment of inertia 280.83, Period 1.18, Fit residual 0.0107 2. Moment of inertia 280.83, Period 1.18, Fit residual 0.0128 Third measurement: Moment of inertia 7.93, Period 0.26, Fit residual 0.1534 Do you know what I may be doing wrong? I've followed the steps several times and this keeps happening. I will try with my wife's iPhone later to see if I get something different. Thank you

My SW1 came with a rod that has a permanent weight. How do I get the last calibration step to check for "greater than" instead of "less than"? Another thing, when I go to settings to add the device, there is only one option "Default (limited demo)".

I have to commend your work. Pretty amazing how you filled this gap in the market with 3D printing. The Product works really well and was easy to set up.

I followed this step for step. And it keeps measuring a SW of over 2000 pounds. Spring constant shows 2400 which I’m sure is wrong. Not sure what I’m doing wrong

Thanks. I'll keep the spreadsheet video in mind, but hopefully you can figure it out. There are comments on many of the column headers that should help. I'm busy working on the Android app right now.

Are there any alternate options to the BB's?

The BBs are for weight. Something similarly small and dense should work. If larger, it won’t fill the cavities as well, and if less dense (sand, for instance), it won’t add enough weight.

@@realya79 The beta Android app is now out. I bought the SW1 last week and compared the results on my Samsung Galaxy S10e with my daughter's iPhone. Got the same results 👍🏽
