BRIGGS & STRATTON. MARK Z Z 5/1943

1943 Briggs and Stratton ZZ engine which a farmer friend had purchased out of a scrap metal yard on a garden tractor of which I fitted a Honda engine . So I’m doing some restoration and painting  and getting it ready to start

When I was about 6 this is the first motor I help my dad rebuild for an old reel mower we used on our little farm, You bought back a lot of memories with this video, I am 68 years old now but I still remember that day . Thank you sir.

Great work Ross! But I'm with Jimmy (earlier comment), braze or solder some patches on the fuel tank if you can, paint it up and maybe line it with some epoxy tank liner. Just a suggestion!
