Connor has no idea why people are still buying his early records years later- It's because his command of the English language is unparalleled; and the feelings that Connor, Mike, and Nate are able to convey and evoke through their music makes their music so incredibly high-tier that it's chilling.

Never underestimate the power of Cassadaga 😅 I've heard people say it's at least favorite Bright eyes album but if you do give it a second or third chance it will grow on me. I hated the People's key and now even thinking that I thought that is God damn blasphemy in my mind. I really listen to it a few years later and I had been doing a lot of fungus lol one of Connor's many favorite treats. And then I totally understood The People's key 🍄✌️💯🤷‍♀️

I have been playing music in bands for twenty years and I got Fevers and Mirrors in 2001 as a Freshman in high school. It was formative for me. I hope high school kids keep buying it and we keep getting more Bright Eyes for decades to come.

I love the stripped down version of Marianna Trench. I think it hits harder like this , than compared to the album. The really vivid , picturesque lyrics paint a brighter picture without all the big prodiction on the studio version imho
