Love when people argue about art. Saying he can't sing is like saying non-realistic painters can't paint. There aren't any rules, there is only your personal taste. You have to make an artwork as you want it to be. I think he wants to sing like that. To me the songs couldn't be more perfect. They 'speak to me' in a way few songs can.

Never connected that lyric until now. Been a year or so since I stopped. I just learned this on the guitar, because I‘ve been learning a lot of songs from the Life is Strange Soundtrack (even if you didn’t play this awesome game check it out, it’s a GREAT soundtrack full of tracks like this) and I‘ve realized the lyrics remind me so much of Bojack Horseman, it’s insane.
