this new album is exactly what i needed. i grew up on y’all’s music, my dad loved bright eyes and all of conor’s projects in general. he was supposed to take me and my sister to see yall in april 2022 but he passed away a month before we were supposed to go, we still went and took our grandma and his siblings and it was such a beautiful experience. i got presale tix for y’all’s tour for this album and am gonna surprise my sister with a ticket for her birthday! i just wanted to say thank you guys for being one of the only bands i can listen to anytime, regardless of where i’m at in life. my music taste may change through the years, but i always come back to bright eyes. yall have been such a big influence and inspiration for me throughout my life. love the new songs 🎲❤

Love this track… Definitely one of my top 3 songs off the new album which to me, is incredible! Hearing it lifted my spirits… It’s comforting to know that there’s others in this world rejecting the current state of affairs taking place in our country. While Musk doesn’t deserve a mention in their songs… I’m glad he included that lyric. This is a bit of a different album for BE’s but it's just what we needed imo, both content wise and sonically. I love everyone he brought in to contribute on the album and they made their presence felt. While this track with Cat Power is a top 3 song, for me, from the album, interestingly, the song with Matt B from The National is also a top 3 fav from the album… So my point is, again, Conor picked the right folks to be a part of this album. Lastly, I’m wishing Conor well and certainly sending positivity and much love. The world can weigh on you no doubt, I’m no stranger to that, so I’m rooting for Conor all the way!
