They did a great job building this, you did a great job covering the build. It looks like it’s always been there. Thanks

2:30 Now this is gorgeous. Gives off a similar vibe to those videos of Shinkansen passing in front of Mount Fuji

Your series covering the building of Brightline from Palm Beach to Orlando should win an award. I request a video covering to current status of the Tampa extension and any work on the LA to Vegas construction.

I don’t plan on any Tampa videos until ground is officially broken or precise routing for the entire line is announced.

Was on the train to Orlando ~2 weeks ago. My GPS registered 112 MPH at one point in the West Palm Beach to Cocoa corridor.

My step niece rode it back from in November from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale visiting from College. She really enjoyed the ride! I still have yet to ride it myself! Looking forward to it! Enjoy your videos!

Pretty cool to see a snippet of your coverage over on the @B1M. Crossover coverage is the best.

Interesting seeing as I didn’t give them permission to use anything. I’ll have to check to see if it’s maybe something I gave to Brightline…

Being on vacation during the Christmas days I took my time to review quite some videos of this channel covering the contruction of the Phase 2 extension, even from 3 years ago. It's specifically intriguing if you watch the trains running now these days not really appearing spectacular or like something from outta space, just fast passenger trains. In a way this could be the NEC if not for Florida's landscape. Then again, it does not show how much of an effort had to be taken to build this new service. Imagine, Amtrak would want to do the same on the Empire State route from Albany to Buffalo, just upgrading it to 110 mph - a really long way to go. But still, there is something in the wind it should not stop here. That said, I put my YT to full screen on my 46 inch and just enjoy Brightline passing by. Happy new year to all!

Great video and channel as always. I've been watching these for a while now and it's nice to see trains with paying passengers on them now, especially when you see freight trains just after. This goes to show you with double-tracking that mixed operations are ENTIRELY possible and that the federal government really should be exercising their right of way rights when it comes to passenger trains... The same movement is happening here in Canada with an MP riding from Ottawa to Terrace (4000 km away) by train to prove a point since The Canadian, VIA's premier cross-country service between Toronto and Vancouver can be up to 4 days late making the journey due to having to wait for slower moving freight trains to pass even though like in the USA, passenger trains should naturally take priority...

What? Freight and passenger trains can coexist on the same ROW?

Thanks for the video and the series about Brightline. An idea for another video would be to video and time how long the gates are down from when they first signal and begin to lower till they are back up and the signal goes off at various grade crossings ... those at speed and those in slower areas. It would help show just how unnecessary it is for those who try to beat the train.

Like those up close ground-level fast passes. Any chance to do one for Cocoa-Orlando 125 mph zone, or is it a safety issue with Brightline/state?

I actually did a ground level one during testing, just haven’t devoted time since service began: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKnQgmmMhMh4g5o
