BRIGHTON 2 NIGHTS AND WINTER SUNSHINE

After 4 nights wildcamping in Surrey Graham and Ellie take Merlin to Brighton to have a bit of on site luxury.
We have a look around Brightons famous Lanes and find a fantastic little Vegan restaurant. With such gorgous winter weather the sunset over the pier make a lovely closing backdrop.

Our story so far....
We are Graham, Ellie, Maya and Luna, and we travel around the countryside in our CV40 Campervan called Merlin. A love of being in nature and enjoying dark skies with our dogs, has always been our passion. However a life changing illness has meant some careful thoughts about how we access these beautiful places. So the idea of buying a little home from home on wheels was born. Enter Merlin.

Never been to Brighton as we've never done any of the south further east than the New Forest. Have wanted to go for a while though to see the starling murmuration. Lovely sunset and loved the way they had done the shop windows. They looked very pretty.

Well worth a visit but it’s always busy in Brighton itself. The day we went it was relatively quiet. I’m not very good with lots of people ( so it wasn’t only the dogs who needed a break!) but the sea front is nice. Certainly not beautiful countryside. But it’s a special place to us as not far from where we lived. Those shops were incredible weren’t they? So many baubles! 😊🧙‍♂️

I had no idea Brighton was like that. I thought it was just a beach. Looked cold there. You need one of those hats with the are on mate. You can’t beat a nice sunset. 👍🏻

What fantastic weather for December, lovely video, really enjoyed watching. Only been to Brighton the once but it rained and didn’t get to see too much of it - looked far better in your video! Shame about the vandalism which also I believe stretches to what happened to the pier also. Looked like some interesting bits and pieces in some of the shops. That sunset was magnificent especially when you captured the starlings - David 👍
