When plastic was invented: OMG!! Use this for everything! Now: PLASTIC IS BAD!! DESTROY IT!!
As a scientist and patented inventor I found this to be one of the most interesting videos I have ever seen. This is not the story of "mistakes" which we all make, but the story of realizing that those mistakes have a practical value. That recognition is what separates these innovations from millions of things in waste baskets in laboratories which I am very guilty of. Who knows what our scientists and engineers discard every day? We will never know unless we have people that realize something unintended.

Which is what true depression is. But if u dont have a chemical imbalance n take them, it will cause a chemical imbalance. While some ppl may need antidepresants, others should absolutely never take them. I really cnt live w out my microwave though. Since im hypoglcimic. Meat is always made in the oven. the 3 inventions that most caught my attention were Coca-Cola, post-it notes and matches.I already knew that Coke was created therapeutically, and at home we actually drink coke when we have either a headache .We use matches a lot , because our stove is not electric , so we have to use matches or lighters .I particularly use post-it notes a lot to organize myself in my studies, if it wasn't for the post-it notes I would be all disorganized.

Although these inventions may look like happenstance, they fairly well define the history of inventing, I think. It took Edison hundreds of tries to find a filament that worked properly in light bulbs, I'm told. Human beings are so curious that they'll mix up just about anything to see what happens.

In winter break 2018-2019, I accidentally placed my computer too close to an object that turned out to be a magnet. (My dad never told me it was a magnet.) The magnet erased my computer's hard drive and my files and it can't be fixed, so I just got a new computer. And if it was not for the magnet that erased my hard drive, there would be no Republic of Domolas, many of my accounts (including Discord and Facebook), or the songs that I composed starting February 2019. And where did the magnet come from? There is a safe box in my house that my dad uses, and just before my 2018 computer got magnetized, the safe box's battery level was too low to be opened normally, so to replace the battery, my dad got a magnet to open the safe box. And if my family didn't move (or moved to some other house that didn't have a safe box) in the summer of 2018, my dad won't need that magnet, and I would still be playing Geometry Dash on my old computer. Fun fact: The house I currently live in probably used to belong to my former teacher for the 2016-2017 school year!
