I was skateboarding on an Inner street when I got hit by a pickup truck luckily I noticed it fast enough to slow my board down and only get hit on the one leg. I was dragged across the ground, escaping possible death. Only receiving a minor injury, a bruise. This happened when I was in the 6th grade now I’m on my 3rd year of high school. Edit: I know that no one will believe this but It was one of the most amazing/scary experiences I’ve had in my life.

I know a story of survival it happened to me..... My family’s flight to Nigeria was delayed for a day we waited in the airport hotel and went in the morning. 30 mins before landing the plane landed it started to move from left to right like crazy every one was screaming and crying I was terrified so I started to pray to god 15 mins later the plane was under control then landed every one was so happy. I didn’t think much of it after a month or so.....until on the news a plane crashed and the recreation video the plane moved the same way mine did and crashed, then that’s when I cried tears of happiness, I was so lucky I was to close to death but survived ........I am happy I lived to tell this story... Btw I am only ten when this happens

I have a story: A group of people in India tried to climb the Mt Everest. They almost reached the top when one guy started to have everything breathing problems. The person who was leading carried that person on his shoulders and continued to climb. But the problem grew bigger. So they decided to go to the closest hospital. Two people from the group travelled 6 miles to get a car. But finally they took him to the hospital and the man survived with no injuries.

This is one of my real stories that happened to me. So I was just riding my bike down the road, keep in mind I had no brakes and I was only 8, then I saw a truck driving on the intersection of the road, I tried to stop but I couldn’t on time. The story at 4:28 was similar to something that happened to me. I had a huge fir tree outside my rented house. I asked my landlord how it had been watered and she said it got water when she watered the lawn. (Trees need a drip line in order for them to withstand high winds.) That week I started drip line watering it but I wasn't fast enough. Two weeks later I left to go on vacation. There was a massive wind storm while I was gone and the tree tipped over, roots and all, onto the house! Sometimes it pays to rent! All the damage was to the house, not to the furnishings. ...And now she knows!

I have a gosh darn real survival story to tell.... so I was abt 7 and I was swimming pretty deep in the Atlantic Ocean in Montauk, then I slipped and fell on a slant underwater but I couldn’t get back up cause a giant wave kept pushing me down , luckily I can hold my breath for 1 min and 45 sec or I would’ve died for sure. I got my foot stuck underwater and pulled it out , and got up , but I was injured and couldn’t swim, but then a miracle happened . The ocean pushed me back onto the sand and I survived! That’s how I broke my ankle! (~_~) I’m still grateful to this very day.

I have actually escaped death. I was coming home from my neighbor (and friend's) house to go to my grandma's, and my brother, my friend, my friend's mom, another one of our neighbors, and I were all standing in my next-door neighbor's driveway. We all left about a minute later, after we all talked and said goodbye. About five minutes later, we got a call from our neighbors saying that a truck with malfunctioning brakes going 90 mph had come speeding up our street, and had sped right over where we had been standing a minute ago before flipping over. It was so scary.

Here's a story (I'm missing bits and pieces though) Last year my computer teacher told us a story about his friend. His friend (guy but forgot name) was going to camp in a forest for a few days. One day while he was there a bear walked up to where he was. He was currently outside his tent and didn't have anything to scare the beat with. (Black or brown bear) The bear knowing he wasn't a threat attacked him, scratching part of his brain out. Here's the amazing part: When he woke up in the hospital he was alive. His left side of his brain was taken out and he forgot everything he ever learned. He had to learn how to walk and redo high school. He was 22 when he graduated but ended up graduating as the smartest kid in school.

Something similar happned to me in 1998, I had just finished my breakfast at a hotel/beach resort in Puerto Galeo Philippines. When literally just seconds later a huge branch came down from a great night and toppled the table and chair where I was sitting only moments before. If it had hit when I was sitting in the seat I would definitely not be writing this today. Also in 2004 whilst walking to the gym in Harrogate England I nearly got struck by a freak bolt of lightning how scary is that?.
