Brilliance of the Seas Cabin 9252 - Obstructed Spacious Balcony Room

Thanks. We are in 9254. Also obstructed . And a larger balcony. Looks like a huge cabin. I always thought it was a SPACIOUS balcony - even though it’s not listed as such

So we have just disembarked from cabin 9254. We are obviously right next door to this one, and it is also classified as obstructed. Ours is the very last cabin before the aft cabins. and it has a good size triangular shaped addition to the balcony. They have put a pool lounger in that area so we have the table and chairs plus the lounger. It was great to have that extra space. The cabin was classified as a balcony cabin, but it was the same size as the cabins all the way along on this side of the ship, and they were all spacious balcony cabins, and so ours was definitely the same. It had a three seater couch in it as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin due to its extra space and extra balcony and nothing was obstructed at all and we paid a very good price for it -can thoroughly recommend it.

I was just assigned this cabin. Shady thing is it wasnt described as obstructed. From the video it sounds like you liked it tho!

There is a (single) "Pullman" bed that can be brought down from the ceiling above the sofa, not sure if that's what you were asking. And the sofa folds out to a bed. Room can sleep up to 5

Thx for the video! Question- did you feel much motion in this cabin? We are assigned this exact cabin for our upcoming cruise.

Hi Amy, no, I don't remember noticing any motion in particular when we were in our cabin, just the general feel of being on the ship. (It was a smooth sailing, no rough seas thankfully). Hope you have a great trip!

thank you - we will have cabin 8060 on the Brilliance and it sounds like it has the same obstruction of the view. This helps to get an idea how "bad" it will be - I guess it is doable

Yeah, if it's the window washing equipment, it really doesn't prevent you from seeing anything in any direction. Worked out fine for us. Just not totally "wide-open" so of course it depends on what's important to you. Glad the video helped, hope you have a great sailing!

Just returned from my cruise in 8060 on the Brilliance - the window washing ladder is at the far right side of the balcony, and really not a big problem, the views are still nice. No complaints.
