Question...can you do these on normal open chords?
@TheWorshipGuitarChannel2
@TheWorshipGuitarChannel2 Ай бұрын
Yes, absolutely Neil! For an open G chord you would use the open D and G strings and slide up to the fourth fret of the G string (B note). it’s basically the same pattern. Thanks a lot for checking out the video.🙏

You have a lot of interesting ideas towards guitar in a worship setting but how do we get away from being stuck in the so called box of sounding like the guy from U2 and poppy worship of Hillsong and the like? I’d like to take your ideas but have more of that classic rock tone like Page or Moore instead of all the over processed effects.

Hey Steve, on this channel, I try to keep it worship guitar related. But on my other channel, I let loose a little more in the blues rock style. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nn6miGeqaJ6Il6Msi=R6Y74RaFeC1pe0S1 Here is a recent quick tip video. Catch you later.✌️

thanks for the quick reply. I what I was asking is about using those couple of eexample players tone or sound in a worship service more so than what I hear from the mainstream popular worship teams. I’m not referring to shredding guitar solos but more of a blues based style like Glenn Kaiser or Darrell Mansfield.
