Nice work and plants. I had tried it and would suggest you throw away those types of bags immediately after harvest because they break into very fine bits of plastic getting mixed into the soil. My biggest mistake was leaving it two months too late and had to throw away all the compost and soil including gathering up all the bits of plastic in the garden. Never used plastic or nylon bags again. Wooden planter boxes all the way now.

Any local bakery or restaurant has food grade pails as well. Drill holes in bottom, plant what you like. Works great for tomatoes , beans, even potato

The cabbage are so pretty and healthy looking. My first year growing anything. Had six cabbages, was able to harvest only one. Worms where so bad and the head never fully developed.
