@@asatur_YT True. The internodes are far apart due to low light, the plant is small and not very heathy looking. There is hardly any foliage, the true results are at the 14:19 mark, small white potatoes. When growing your own, the potatoes are all different sizes, commercial growers grade and sort their potatoes, there is no way those plants produced all those uniform in size and shape potatoes.

@earthwatchmoon8390
@earthwatchmoon8390 19 күн бұрын
The wasabi spray is insect repellent. Also if you grow potatoes, make sure you give them more sun then this guy did. His plants are small and not very heathy looking. There is hardly any foliage, the true results are at the 14:19 mark, small white potatoes. When growing your own, the potatoes are all different sizes, commercial growers grade and sort their potatoes, there is no way those plants produced all those uniform in size and shape potatoes.

I like the idea of having the fresh soil mixture sealed within the bag to keep out pests & rodents. The wasabi spray was a surprise - did you have insect issues? Do you think your results with the compost on top without the Trichoderma additive would still be good? Thanks so much and you always have wonderful ideas :)

So how come bigger/older potatoes not attached? They cut themselves off to let new baby grow, lol? 80 days? I tell you: I throw all kind of vegetable and fruit, eggshells, into a big plastic container compost 500litres, potatoes grow in 3 weeks (3-5 normal big sized). I probably get more than you in 89 days, imagine me go for it? Anyway, they grow crazy fast, everywhile I just pull the plants out. Also must mention the amount in your bag (now when you use all the extra nutrition) is over kill. My +10kg watermelons get ripe after 50 days also, normally 80.

I grow potatoes every year. As a professional in this matter, I will note the following: in this video it is immediately visible that the tops are not yet ripe for producing large tubers, they have not even bloomed. In nature, everything goes as usual: a sprout appears, grows, blooms and bears fruit. The same goes for potatoes. And this, alas, is a deception.

Я вот думаю, пока верхнии картофелины вырастут, то которые внизу картофелины по идее должны сгнить.

I have an entirely different method here in the desert southwest. I have seen this method done in cooler climate areas. I might try it. I tried straw bale gardening, and it does not work in the desert.

Don't know about you but when I plant potatoes I use the eye and a bit more potato flesh. 1 big potato will give 6-8 potato plants. I like the rest of the video.

Certaines personnes coupent la patate en plusieurs morceaux, puis les saupoudre de ciment blanc avant de les planter Quelle différence, j'aimerais bien tenter l'expérience mais Quelle méthode choisir ?
