I grow almost all of my pumpkins vertically to save space. I have extended heavy metal wires from wall to wall and over thick metal poles across my garden and all I have to do is tie them up with a nylon thread up to those wires and off they go. You'd be amazed how big and heavy pumpkins can grow hanging up in mid-air. I had one 18 Kgs this year. Overall, I get over 250 Kgs a year and that's more than enough both for our household and for widely sharing with friends and neighbours... I always strive to grow vertically whatever is possible to be grown that way: all sorts of cucumbers, tomatoes, lufa etc but also melons 😆

Why did you picked some flowers and left anothers? Could you please explain how did you chose them? Thanks and admirable work!

She picked the male flowers, used some of them to pollinate the female flowers and possibly stuffed and deep-fried the rest.
