Brilliant Play by Tatsunori Otsuka | 大塚 達宣 | All Round Player | Best of 2022 (HD)

Tatsunori Otsuka (大塚 達宣, Ōtsuka Tatsunori, born 5 November 2000) is a Japanese male volleyball player and Olympian from Hirakata city, Osaka. He plays for Panasonic Panthers and the Japanese national team (Ryujin Nippon).
Otsuka started to play volleyball at the 3rd year of elementary school by entering in Panasonic Panthers Junior club. Then, in the six grade, he attended at "JVA Men's and Women's Elite Academy Training Camp" held by Japan Volleyball Association, in order to find the future players for the national team. In 2017, he was called for Japan men's national under-19 volleyball team for the first time and then was called for U-21 and U-23, respectively. In 2020, Otsuka had the name in the senior national team for the first time and he was one of the outside hitters in 2020 Summer Olympics.

He is basically the sub of Ishikawa, must be pretty fucking balsy to be the backup of the best player in the world. Listen, his mentality has to be crazy top level, to be the bench player right after that monster of a player must be super tiring after all. He got my respect, his footwork are top notch, he lacks a bit of dominance but he will get there, glad to see japan got some hitters other than the captain

I think he really has a solid spot for 3rd Outside. Ishikawa, Ran, Tatsu in that order. He reminds me a lot of Fukuzawa. I miss him

Thanks for picking Otsuka up. I expect him to grow into a player like Ishikawa who based abroad. He's turned 22 the other day. He is one year older than Ran Takahashi. I hope Otuka to do his best with an ambitious mentality to take the position from Ishikawa and Ran. Be more aggressive! 👊

Right now he has a contract to play for the Panasonic Panthers. Think he's busy with uni so he'll start again in January.
